I remember being a kid having a sleepover and we went to our local video store and rented movies. Batman and Robin was one. This is where my love for Uma Thurman started 😆. I thought Robin's bike was so dope and the scene with the bike races that was 😎. I enjoyed the costumes a lot in this one
I hope that the video for the Batman Begins comic book vs the movie gets uploaded soon. I loved watching these 4 videos based on the Batman Anthology movies. It's a darn shame that The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises did not get official comic book adaptions. I remember reading the Batman Begins one as a teen back in 2005.
My uncle loves this movie but I think this movie could’ve done better and especially the costume. I do like Batman Forever, I enjoy that movie way more than BVS movie. The comic book does look better than the movie.
This and forever are two of the best batflicks in the series. They actually know how to capture the magic of the comics unlike the newer Batman movies. The only two movies to top forever and b&r: 89 batman and Batman returns.
So how did the fans of the 60s Batman show react to Batman & Robin? We all know how the vast majority of Batman fans reacted, but what about the people who grew up with Adam West? Did they see this movie as a tongue-in-cheek nod to the 60s show? I'm genuinely curious.
Tell me you are joking that this Batman is better than the the newer version, because I have to absolutely disagree, lol Now, there are somethings still like about B&R but Bane ("Monkey Work") and Freeze's Ice Puns are absolutely terrible. Uma Thurman did well, but her performance was to comical. I loved it as a kid, hate it as an adult. But that Skysurfing scene is still awesome. I don't blame Clooney or Schumacher, just WB for its overly campy atmosphere. And remember Schumacher's Gotham is basically Burtons with a twist.
Batman and Robin the movie Vs. Batman and Robin the comic, winner Batman and Robin the comic, the movie was so bad the comic book was a great joy to read 📖
In your first video in this series, you mentioned wishing for a continuation of the 89 comic to see Billy Dee Williams Two-Face. Have you checked out the new "Batman 89" comic? I think you'd really like it.
I'd like to see your comments about Batman & Robin psx's game. It is an open world game with detective mecanics, expands the movie plot and has the movies' amazing ost.
Pretty sure the this is a movie being made framing was O'Neil trying to distance himself and/or declare that this is a bad movie version, too far away from what real good Batman is, should be.
Great sets and practical effects doesn't make it a great movie, just great sets and effects. lol. The story and its campy but dark aesthetic couldn't save it. But I did like the OST.
Michael Keaton did it for me. I didn’t like Batman forever I didn’t like Val Kilmer. This movie was campy remind me of the 60s Batman. I loved the Batman and robin ride at six flags great adventure. Lol
