Thank you for these great videos and sharing your knowledge. Forced Bloom Filter off was the exact setting I’ve been looking for. Walking Dead had real bloom problems since 10.8 and this fixed things for me.
Thanks for your great videos! I gladly refer to it if people e.g. want to start with a new VPX installation or have color ROM issues. I especially appreciate your up-to-date mega link, as that is by far the quickest way for me to update from time to time. From my understanding, Niwak still recommends window mode for DX. Also, the recommendation for DX is to have pre-rendered frames on 0. I highly recommend putting effort in to always get Frame Pacing to work as the lower flipper input lag makes a world of difference in precision aiming. Frame Pacing is also not supposed to have a fps hit; in fact, it should be able to give you more stability if you have variable framerate i.e. actively compensate compared to say adaptive sync. OpenGL works better, but you still have huge improvements in lag on the DX version with Frame Pacing. There are many factors that can interfere with Frame Pacing including in your monitor and graphics card settings. Regarding Supersampling, it looks much better and have improved performance if I use DLDSR in my Nvidia settings rather than increase supersampling (I keep it disabled).
Big greetings to Rudy. I used your beginner video three days ago and got everything working. I also took the zips you left in the comment, all nicely updated. So I'm using VP 10.8 (1614) GL x64 and everything runs smooth as butter. Incredibly. I had a lot of problems before, I even deleted everything, because when the updates to VP 10.8 come, they mess everything up, so now I didn't update anything, I just installed it as you explained. And it works. And how, perfectly. On these settings of yours that you showed in the video, my frame rate is stuck at 120-144 with Frame pacing turned on. Everything is so smooth and fluid. Phenomenal. It doesn't occur to me to update anything anymore. Now I only hold like this. Ryzen 5 2600, GTX 1060 6GB, 16 GB ram, 2k monitor 144 hz....
This is what we needed. Thanks for the clearing that up! Another very useful tips video. Those well deserved subs are creeping up! Going off topic - do you know much about the best way to view instruction cards in popper front end?
Could you please help me? I have a GTX 1080 ti paired with a I5 10400 and 8gb of ram. I'm getting a ton of stutters. I'm looking to see what results you were getting with your 1080ti. And possibly get it setup to work with my system.
@rudysarcade I follow your update video from awhile back still to this day. Lol I can't help myself. And it's all.your fault. Hahaha 😆 My.rtx3090fe Is not even breaking a sweat. I literally run all my tables using vpx64 dx edition. Everytime I update a table etc. Lol.
