I don't think I've ever been called that by an older person but I would just consider it flattery. Working in warehouses if multiple people had the same name they would just have the most obvious adjective put before their first name. Could be old/young, fat/skinny, tall/short, big/little, bald/hair, black/asian/white/mexican.
As someone with a GenX stepfather, and GenX uncles and aunts, you do. You just hardly notice when you do it. In fact the rest of my family calls my stepfather “Kid,” because of how many times he says it. It’s cool man, we all got bashed here.
0:53 - "... Not getting the bites I was hoping for on the secondary market..." Oh. Oh my goodness. I would love to tell that sort of individual "no." Whiskey scalpers suck, dude. 1:55 - This reminds me of a customer I had a couple years ago who brought a half-pound sack of OHM tobacco up to my counter and wanted me to open it up and sell him $3.00 worth. I had to ask him to repeat it 'cause I was sure I hadn't heard him correctly. No, it turns out he said what I thought he said.
Hey guys, I bet you’ve never heard this one. On Wednesday night I couldn’t sleep at all despite having my driving test super early on thursday… But I watched your guys videos and shorts and the humour you guys have really helped ease my anxiety and worries. I was fortunate enough to pass.. it was my third time trying aswell so thank you guys for all the content. Will always appreciate the Liquor bros for getting me through.
A Gen X would more than likely hang on to it than return it. I'd either keep it until an occasion arises or give it to a friend that drinks it. Returning it is a hassle and it's not that much money back anyway
