Differential developed by Hans Ledwinka, in 19s.
Symmetrical differential in independent suspension axles for heavy trucks, basic principle animation with lock mechanism.
For real usage is needed helical gear!!! (quiet operation, higher forces, higher main axle). For my basic principle direct gear is enough.
You can combine more differential for 6x6, 8x8, etc.
In my animation middle gears are in rotation (after differential is locked, but due to fps it is not seen).

This concept is used by TATRA or STEYR. (Tatra concept)

Pretty cool. Can easily be made as a helical torque biasing differential with a locker function.

Ok I see how it works now the first small gear drives the right ring gear and the back gear drives the left gear. The way I looked at it the first time was the pinion gear in the front loaded both gears and that would make the wheels spin away from each other.

how much is the offset of the left to the right axle side related to the vehicle longitudinal axis? if there is no offset, how is this structurally compensated?

I'm affraid of the complexity of that design. How much does it weight at all? It has a lot parts, combined with such a tubular framework that assembles all those parts together and allows independent suspension to be achieved. I've never suspected in Czech's enginerability, especially in Tatra's, but this seems to be overdesigned 🤔

Do not be too wise, because my model is not design for real usage. It is only 3D representation of basic concept from that patent. It could be a plastic toy.
