My parents also going through this such kind of issues... 1) Lactose Intolerance Issue and 2) Too much Protein Enriched Food Intolerance Issue... Actually, the main problem is that, most of the parents are not willing to change their thinking, not willing to come out from their comfort zone, specially if their son or daughter is requesting to add something or change something, they're always ready to say one Sentences " MUJHE GYAN NA DE, MAIN NE TUJHE ZADA DUNIYA DEKHA HAI" etc ..... Like this... That's why I am using the word " MISSION IMPOSSIBLE" to convince my parents..... But although I will trying hard to convinced my parents to use pills with their regular diet....
