An 86 should have a 3rd brakelight at the top of the hatch glass on the outside.

Yes your right, the hatch was replaced at one point the owner said.

That’s not the original motor. That looks like an old truck motor with the TPI intake. Yeah, all 3rd Gen catch my eye. I own two!

I’m not too sure if it is or isn’t the real motor. I never dug that deep to see if it and the vin matched.
