AWESOME video. Sooooo, I have a pi-zero-w just sitting around not doing anything, and also an Icom IC-705. I **think that means I have everything needed.

first, i'm green with envy, second, yup, should work great! change the rig number in the /home/pi/direwolf.*usb.conf files (currently 135, for yaesu991), also change the rig number in /etc/systemd/system/rigctld.service. assuming rigctld/hamlib support the 705? please report back.

@@craig9309 Thanks! I have to "begin at the beginning," tho... have never downloaded the DigiPi image...and not even really sure where to find it yet!

What if I have an 817ND with an audio cable set to USB and a separate USB CAT Cable?

See if you can get a yaesu CAT-62 cable, this provides a USB serial port to the DigiPi. then in /home/pi/direwolf.conf, add "PTT RIG 1020 /dev/ttyUSB0". Direwolf can then control ptt on that rig.
