Уже много лет мы говорим об этом - Димаш не только мог бы спеть титульную песню в Джеймс Бонде, но и сыграть главную роль. И это был бы уникальный случай в истории бондиады! A high percentage of fans mention the idea of Dimash singing a Bond song after watching him perform Sinful Passion. Also, he does have a fun video of him playing a Bond-type character in his official MV of Be With Me, rescuing a pretty girl from villains. It has a bit of rap in it. Dimash always raps in Kazakh which features a lot of rolling r’s and sounds amazing.

Regarding the fact that he is not as famous as we could expect with regards to his insane talent, I think that it is due to the fact he does not want to sign with a US/Western major company. This is a conscious choice: he wants to be free, not forced to compose in a specific genre, to release in a specific time constraints, etc. Integrity is a key element of his personality. He met Hans Zimmer a few months ago: perhaps a collaboration between 2 geniuses will open the door to a broader audience? But I think that Dimash's key objective is not to be the most famous artist in the world. He has the best possible trustable production environment and the most possible loyal fanbase: the connection between him and his fans is what matters for him: he won't renounce his integrity for a bigger audience. He proved that money and celebrity are not key for him when he voluntary stepped down from this awful US show "The World Best" because they lied to him and he discovered he had to compete against children, which is against his kazakh culture and his convictions. This why he is so deeply loved and respected: he is so more than the best vocalist in the world, his personality, his behavior, his actions demonstrate day after day that he is a so beautiful human being. Who else produced a song for unity and support during the pandemic (We are One)? Who else released a mini-film which is a cry against war (The Story of One Sky)? He deserves to be better known all around the world, not only because of his insane talent but above all because the message he conveys is crucial for humanity.

I felt inspired to work harder at all all I do, practise humbly in the arts I play in, with a new sense of possibility than ever before. I know he brings a new light into the world, by what he inspires in others, and how he seems to bring the best out in human beings. Dimash shows James Bond-ish acting in the music video of Be With Me, and it is sooo much fun to watch. While I agree that you see Dimash best in fan cam videos of his live performances, I don't like them for their washed-out sound, and particularly this version of Know where all the beautiful melismas and rapid ornamentations got lost in comparison to the official video. Nevertheless, now that you have heard Know with lyrics, you cannot miss the beautiful vocalise version from the Kyiv concert in March 2020, the last one before the pandemic forced a temporary end to all live events. A masterclass lesson in generating a musical arc of suspense.

I think Dimash is not more known due to different reasons, among others he is independent, the musical market is focused in the mainstream which doesn’t mean they are really good artist, preconceptions about that only two markets have the best of the best …. and I think they were very surprised when Dimash came out to the world musical scene in 2017, he has demonstrated he is the best singer ever, nobody has reached his level then or now. I so agree with you on this. I wonder if, in the history of James Bond films, there ever was a James Bond actor who also sang. For me, my favorite James Bond theme songs were from Adele ("Skyfall") and Sam Smith ("The Writing's on the Wall") Dimash as the singer AND Bond actor would be the most incredible thing ever! Let's make it happen! He definitely has the acting skills, as shown in "The Story of One Sky". And his Bond theme would be THE most epic song on the planet. I LOVED your intro...Igor did a tour for his birthday, even came to New York. Also rented an entire luxury Hotel/resort in Turkey for the party. Dimash and his parents attended. There are great videos of them there.

He would make a great "young" James Bond. It helps that he is a martial arts expert as well. Probably you know this, but as a teenager he got a black belt in Taekwondo ( not sure if this is correct, but something like that) and was considering a career in martial arts until an injury put a stop to it. Thats why Jackie Chan has been one of his idols - meet him at one of his concerts and became good friends according to the media. Watch his video "Be with me" for a fighting scene.

As to him doing James Bond, ... drinking/womanizing/etc. ???? and dialogue? note that he is a good actor, but with his beautiful vocals and lyrics to tell the story. That is what he is really good at. He lives for music and singing. And too, why have him do a character where he will be judged and compared to other actors? I think that instead, the way he is going with his own creative ideas and projects with his insanely beautiful vocals will (and is) pulling the world to hear and see and know Dimash. :)
