I love Dimash singing Opera, though I'm absolutely not into it😅. Isn't it amazing how he brings us to new music all the time? Now I find myself watching Placido Domingo and Andrea Bocelli sing this piece from 10 years ago. I can feel Dimashs excitement to achieve his childhood dream. And he sounds absolutely amazing! Honestly I dreamed about him singing something in completely baritone range and yet he amazed me so much. Rich and like silk his voice besides Placido didn't stand back one bit. They had mics but I believe Dimash can be powerful as Placido and could fill this place like an Opera singer. It was to short 😂 i need more. Future duets like this please ❤.

The video where Placido meets Dimash for the first time is the cutest thing. Placido's enthusiasm of recognizing Dimash because of his grandson and Dimash's embarrassment yet pleasure to be recognized. He said an interview he's been a fan his whole life and had his CD at 5 years old. Of course hearing Dimash sing was spoken, and I think the talk of duet was probably put into motion. Great reaction William. Most of us opera fans who are Dimash fans were also brought to tears too.

I had my emotional meltdown yesterday when I heard it for the very first time too. I grew up with Domingo when I was a child and teenager and to see him singing a duet with my favorite singer now… magnificent!

It is the proof that Dimash is really an opera singer, a great opera singer. I am French and I am very happy to hear Dimash singing in French. His pronunciation is not perfect (but not bad), but it is not important.

I too can't watch this duet without crying 🙂 I feel that this is perhaps the vocal performance of the century; the maestro, at 82 years old and one of the last of his generation still performing, so proudly and caringly passing the torch of vocal art to Dimash, with the voice of an angel. What a gift. I'd been wondering when we'd get to see Dimash in a pure operatic performance, and of course Dimash makes it look like he does opera with the likes of Placido Domingo every day. And I'm not surprised at all.
