Dimash dijo que se iba porque no le parecía justa está competencia, que sus valores no se lo permitían, que les dejaba el camino libre a los niños. A este señor le sentó mal y fue un verdadero impresentable con Dimash. 😢 El resto de los jueces fueron comprensivos.
For Kazakh songs Amanat is very tender and subdued and also "qaragym ai" which he sang as an hommage to the composer who died of Covid. That one is really special, no fireworks just pure emotions. Oh the other one is a ukranian song marigold I think with his mom crying in the audience. Again no fireworks just emotions
You are absolutely right, when Dimash sings Daididau, Samaltau or Qairan Elim his performance is on entirely different level. Not that he doesn't do a good job every time he sings, because he does. But those songs are singing themself through Dimash, through his body and soul. It is at times like that you know that he doesn't do it for the money but because singing is his life.
During the I Am Singer competition where he first sang All By Myself, they are supposed to rearrange it to be different from the original, and Dimash pretty has kept that arrangement. My favorite version of All By Myself from Dimash is definitely the Barclay Center performance in December 2019, where he messes up....in style. LOL. Sadly this version on World's Best is chopped up and I can't watch any of his other performances on this show either. Chopped up songs for tv timing (He also sang Adagio and SOS). I have never seen Dimash be that mad, when he tried to leave the show and they insult his integrity (He was told he there were no children in the competition, and he ran into Daneliya Tuleshova in green room, whom he knows from Kazakhstan, and I think she was 9 or 10 at the time). I really hope they just chose RuPaul to be the "bad guy" in the scenario. Dimash sings with everything he's got in any language, but when its in Kazakh or Russian he really does shine. Of course SOS in French and he sings with his soul when he sings that. His Japanese is also wonderful (singing). Ok, I'm thinking about his Italian and Spanish songs too. Its every song. LOL.

This song was heavily edited and they cut a kazakh song before it which is why he was wearing a kazakh traditional dress. In the other hand, you can tell he was singing live with the mic shaking etc..

They treated Dimash badly at this competition, so rather than possibly winning a million dollars, he quit. The reason for his traditional Kazakh costume, and his parents being in the audience was that he had performed a Kazakh song beforehand, that was never broadcast. The ideal performance of this song to see is the one at Singer 2017. Later audiences at his concerts had seen the Singer performance, and were anticipating the big ending. All of his performances on The World's Best were edited, as were the judges' comments after he left due to him being lied to about having to compete against children. For a performance worth seeing on this show, see The TNT Boys cover of "And I Am Telling You...". As far as Ru Paul goes : Dimash joined the competition with the understanding that he wouldn't be competing against children, then when Dimash decided to bow out when he found that was not true, Ru Paul got up and yelled something like "How dare you ! You knew what you were getting into !" , which was a lie. This new show, being called "The World's Best", needed Dimash to win, in order to give themselves some legitimacy when competing against all of the other similar competition shows - so when he quit, he ruined their plans.
Aw bless, of all the wonderful songs you could have chosen this is probably the worst, not because Dimash isn't amazing and sings perfectly, but because of the disrespect and rudeness shown to him by the panel, one in particular Rue Paul. Most Dears refuse to give air time to this show and don't want to watch it. However if you want to see the only time I believe you will ever see Dimash angry is this video, with a face like thunder he shows his utter contempt for the insinuation that he is not professional and has too big an ego, which anyone knows is completely wrong. Our Dimash is one of the most respectful and humble people you will come across without a huge ego and to accuse him of not being so upset him greatly. I know it will upset you too to see how he was treated. His version of this song done live in his Bastau concert is so much better and absolutely beautiful please react to that one. I used to have respect for RuPaul but the incident on this show has forever tarnished the man, in my opinion. I have tried a number of times to reach RuPaul or his people in order to ask him to apologize directly to Dimash for his inappropriate outburst at him when Dimash decided to leave the show for perfectly honorable reasons. RuPaul needs to be ashamed of his behavior that night, and he needs to atone for it.
Hmm, since Dimash's main fan base is an international audience, they didn't know anything about RuPaul until recently. This is their first acquaintance with this person, and it is completely overshadowed by his inappropriate behavior in the semi-finals, when Dimash decided to refuse further participation in this competition. as probably many DEARS will tell you, we are trying to avoid this version. his singing was cut in strange way, and he resigned from competition when he discovered he will compete against children.
I must say, to all doubters to Dimash live performance. If u look at this particular song and performance u cant say this is recorded. I mean, how he working with the Mic over and over again. As like he thinking... Hmmm i will show em all :-) But wow, he can really do the things other singer cant.
Well this show treated Dimash terribly, especially R. Paul. Dimash came to this show when they assured him he would not be competing with children which in his culture is a big no for adults. He gets to the end where he would clearly win and they pitted him against two children, one from his own country. He came out and explained he was withdrawing to allow the two children to go forward where one of them would win one million dollars. R. Paul was incredibly rude to Dimash who continued to be polite and respectful. He did what was right in his eyes and by his culture which is to honor the elderly with respect and to encourage the young. There are other versions of this song that were not so edited for time. His Kazakh songs are incredible. There is one where he simply stands and sings. No real acrobatics but just incredible. You have to listen he sings this at another shows live,, like for example at Singer 2017, but listen to "My heart will go on" also a cover by Celine Dion song, it's better than the original.
The song Eric Carmen plagerised the music is part of Rachmaninov’s Second Symphony, and Eric Carmen just put words to it and sang it in the same register as the original. The symphony is very long and I’ve tried to find the part where it appears, though there’s a Bette Davis film where it features a bit. The rest of the symphony is very serious and I’ve seen a few ice skaters use it, such as Mao ASADA at Sochi.

If you go to the video "Patrice and Anita discuss Dimash on The World's Best" on Patrice Grullion's channel, they give an account of the whole thing, and the ways in which the show tried to look better by cutting out and re-ordering the judges' remarks. The incident itself, as was broadcast, is the second half of his performance of "Adagio" on The World's Best, which is still on RU-vid.

Dimash Dears avoided any performances by Dimash on this show because of how badly Dimash was treated because he was withdrawing from the competition. He did so because he was to compete against two children and it was against his ethics. He said that in his country, they encourage the children and do not compete against them. They said some pretty disparaging things to Dimash and I felt they were beyond rude and disrespectful. Especially "Rude" Paul.
I hate watching this video because Rupaul was such a dirtbag to him. I don't even know why he was a judge anyway. No, you would have been pissed at Rupaul at the end because he such a damned jerk. They cut that song for the tv show. The one he sang at “I am singer” is the whole song. You have a peculiar taste in music! If Dimash only sang Kazakh folK songs, “ S.O.S. “ and Olympico, he would be doing just fine as far as you’re concerned . English is 100% Dimash's weakness but what i appreciate about this performance is its AMERICAN home soil and nobody could dispute his vocals being real. Even being a Dimash fan i prefer Celines version. Fully agree with you his own native tongue sung with heart and soul is where he shines
Unfortunately.., Dimash left the show before the final..!, and that Rue was really rude and insulting towards Dimash, maybe if you see the end of Adagio in the same show you would agree with many of us 👍
Im sorry ,the only good thing that came out of this horrendous show are Dimash's vocals and the fact that it made his name a bit more known in the US music industry and the population

You picked the performance from the horrible Worlds Best show. They were rude to him. Dears boycott the show. They make fun of his traditional clothing. Typical low class west. They did not keep their word about him competing against children. They promised he would not....then did. Dimash was the obvious winner....but he gave up the million dollar prize and quit. He stood by his principle. You like RuPaul. You wont after watching how horrible he was to Dimash when he quit. Shameful! None of those judges have a fraction of an ounce of the talent Dimash has nor the character!
