Dimash doesn't sing songs, he "Lives" them. When you look at him perform, at times he doesn't seem to see the audience, onlly until the very end. Unlike any other singer will continue to shock and surprise you, as he is able to sing any musical style flawlessly. There has never been anyone like him, he is truly Unique. 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

I felt totally the same when I first discovered him, it is like the song pierces your body and soul, it is so tense that after seeing each performance of him I need to rest a bit to digest it. And you know what, everytime you listen to him he still surprises you even you have heard that song before. Which is a great feeling though :) I love your reactions, it is priceless to see people turning into a “Dear” 😊 Plese keep up with the good work. Oh, I think the next one you should see is Adagio (the singer version preferably) before the other tens of amazing songs that will leave you speechless as well 😀

Keep in mind that all the New Wave performances were lip synced to a prerecorded sound track. This was required by contract and is common with Russian TV. Notice that after Igor appears to play the last note that the actual last note of the track plays.

Faith, you are one hell of a woman. Your reaction is so ... real, he is a performer first, last and always and that is what all of us love so much about him. I would love it if you would really listen to his version of ADAGIO but before you do that ( or after, makes no never mind ) listen to the original by Laura Fabian, she is a Canadian singer held in the same regard as Celine Dion. The piece was a tribute ( my words and no one else ) to a composer (I believe 18th century ) called Albionini ... and it is beautiful. Listen and if you can tell me what you think. Thank you again for your reaction. It is always a pleasure to listen to your comments, and see your smiling face.The "flute" is a sybyzgy (сыбызғы), an instrument from Kazakh and Mongol. He became a huge overnight sensation in China after he competed on Singer 2017, and was invited back as as a guest performer on Singer 2018 (this video). He also went back in 2019, as a guest performer, and sang a Queen medley with Super Vocal boys (they were in the competition). That video has been taken off RU-vid, but you can find it on Vimeo, the link to the video was posted on your Show Must Go On Reaction in the comments. He says Wǒ ài nǐ (Woah-hi nee), I love you, followed by Fēicháng gǎnxiè nǐ ( Fay-chong Gine-schin), thank you very much in traditional Chinese, and Xièxiè (which you said at the start) in simplified Chinese (Mandarin). I am not Russian, nor Kazakh, but in Russian thank you is Спасибо (Spa-see-bo), and in Kazakh, Рақмет (Rock(or rach)-met). That's about all the Mandarin I know, but because of Dimash, I am now trying to learning Russian, and Kazakh. I am wanting, and planning to go to his next concert in Kazakhstan, whenever that is, and I want to be able to speak the language. It is not easy for this 60 something year old lady. Dimash has a way of making you feel the song he is singing, but for me he has sparked the want and need to "make my world smaller" by learning as much as I can about other cultures, traditions, language, etc. in the world. Hi friend, Dimash picks songs that he feels emotions about,he will not sing a song if it's something that he can't relate too,therefore he won't sing it.Dimash has his Masters Degree in Composing and lyrical writing, he will finish with getting his Doctorate. Dimash has written and composed many of his own songs.Igor Kutroie, a very famous Russian composer loved Dimash SO much that he came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash.I don't know how much you know about Dimash but he is very humbled, very respectful. Где то и когда то - слышала инфо- о тгм что он признал исполнение этой композиции Димашем- лучшим! Помоему , есть такой реакционер - рокер- со своей академией по обучению вокала на " К " начинается имя- с длинными руссыми волосами- вот он при разборе вокала Димаша в этой композиции, говорил что звонил автору( у них вроде дружеские отношени) и тот 4му сказал что поизнает первенство за Димашем! Вспомню ФИО реакционера- информирую,))

It is so hard not to be overwhelmed and in love with Dimash, isn't it? I remember when I first time heard this song I wrote in FC page that we do not have proper equipment to record this voice of his, our equipment is too primitive. His voice really comes from somewhere else. And you know what? This song for me is like protest song and political statemnt, because he added middleastern melismas to all-American hit conneting muslim and American music. This is revolutionary especially now. You asked why he chose this song - I can share some backstory, because I was witnessing it, I have been Dear since 2017. After The Singer contest he disappeared for a longer time and noone knew where he was and we were worried. When he appeared in The Singer 2018 as a guest he sang this song as apology to Dears "Hello is it me you are looking for?" :) Love your sincere emotional reactions, will wait for more. After He, sang JessieJ and she listens to the end of this performance from the set. (by the way she wins this contest, and Greetings Dimash on set) The last sentence of the song Dimash says "Wö-ai-ni" is “I love you” in Mandarin, out of respect for China. the phrase that speaks at the end are “Thanks” and “I love you”. Believe it or not he did not win that singing competition!!! Some said Politics was involved! Nevertheless, his voice will not be denied! He has became even more popular afterwards and went beyond borders. You got it better than anyone else that did a reaction to this more passionate version of "Hello". I truly love this more than the original! Word directly from Dimash's father's mouth "Dimash sings with every cell in his body, an his suits are usually drenched after a concert or when he sings, singing from his soul!...that is exactly what you felt! also probably mixed with a pass experience... maybe. As I recall, there was a big stink at the time about Chinese officials not allowing foreign contestants to win. To be fair, he had a couple of not so great songs where his pronunciation was either off, or he was a bit sick and not at his top. He was competing against the very best singers from 1,4,000,000,000 people and if Terri Lyn was anything to go by, the standard was very high indeed so it could have been a justified result.

Another awesome reaction! If you think the laptop version was amazing, wait until you slip on the headphones and become immersed in the music... it will literally carry you to another dimension. I can't begin to imagine what it must have sounded like to the live audience. Dimash not only has the gift of amazing vocals and stage presence, he conveys emotion in every performance. Even in languages you may not understand, you can feel it. Please react to Adagio for another heartfelt, emotional song.

Dimash is AMAZING! AND, sitting in the audience is his friend and superstar in China, Hua Chenyu. He is also amazing in a different way than Dimash. Hua Chenyu channel on RU-vid has many of his performances. He just won The Singer 2020 in China and plays to sold out stadium/arenas. Another fantastic voice I found only because of Dimash and The Singer show. Great reactions!!

Welcome to Dimash world! This is your beginning! I love your reaction, it’s priceless! His dad said when Dimash sings the music is running through every cell of his sons body. Dimash’s grandmother said after Dimash performs and he changes his clothes she would have to wring out the wet sweat to be able to pack his stage clothes away. I think he chose Hello for the simple reason he felt it. Dimash packed the Barclay Center on 12/10/19 in NYC. I was there along with people from 50 different countries and 45 different states. He never made an international recording then. Dimash is known internationally during I AM A SINGER in 2017. Would you believe he sounds better live? Stay on your Dimashithon ride! It’s going to fun! All your other commenters have spoken for me!

No joke. Dimash makes all of us (us fans) feel nearly every song he sings. It's why we are so addicted to him. And I have cried at MANY of his songs. It's crazy how he has this ability....yet to this day undefined and unfathomable....to take a song and pass it through his heart and then be able to then reach into the chest of a listener, grab hold of their soul and pour all this emotion into them. It metaphysical. It's undefinable. But, it's real. Love your reactions! So much more I'd like you to see. Check out the song "Know" by Dimash when you get a chance. The one in Sochi where he's wearing a white suit is a great one.
