I see dimash and clicked so fast😀.you've heard hello now you should react to sinful passion and love is like a dream it's another masterpiece of dimash.thank you so much caleb😘😘😘
Caleb Coles Music Thanks a lot Caleb , you’re very talented as well. Would please react to My Swan, Mademoiselle Hyde, Give Me Love and Screaming. Do it please when you have time. I’m going to follow your music too. Thank You!
I really like hearing all the vocal coaches critique The Master-Dimash, BUT, Mr. Caleb Coles, you are the BEST, your knowledge of the voice and your explanations of how Dimash can DO what HE does is spot on. And your Australian accent is "icing on the cake".!!
I love your reactions to Dimash but your expressions watching him do his middle eastern runs topped most reactions, by anyone, over the last year!!! I’m just doomed because I got slightly emotional watching you react especially to the long note he held at the end of the runs....😥. Keep them coming please. You are now my fav reactor!!❤️
Thank you so much for your reaction again, Caleb. You are such a pleasure to watch and I really appreciate your comments and insights :) This version of Hello is amazing.
That hello where he did the run and then held it for centuries..... that thing was so powerful, it felt like he was going to blow the roof off of the building! Like the building couldn't take that kind of power, and I'm home watching from my cellphone...I can only imagine what it was like to be there! Anyway, I loved your reaction, as usual.❤
I am so thrilled that you loved this as much as I did. One of his very best, for sure. All of the vocal gymnastics were captured perfectly by you. Amazing on all counts.
You are so much fun to listen to, I am learning things about singing 🎶, and you make it be a JOY. 🎶😊🥰 Of course it’s Dimash❣️❣️❤️ that I have loved 💓💘 for years, and he is singing 🎤 he loves me❣️🎶. Thanks again from 🌵Arizona🌵🌻😎
Wow you've described it well this beautiful song🤗😍 thanks for reacting to this quite different song in terms of having parts that tend to be Asian rather than western. I love the way he performs every song which differs from another one. Caleb you forgot to give me ❤ in my previous comment, i've been waiting for that😂 i also asked you a question there😉😁 love you very much😍
Sorry I have been getting so many comments now that I cannot see them all. I'll try find your question but if I can't you can reply to me here and I can see it :)
Well actually I asked that there was a person who reacted to Dimash's songs on RU-vid. He once said about one of his songs, a song called Mademoiselle Hyde, that it wasn't live. How can be understood a song is live or no? Is there a problem with it? What does it show? Sorry if my questions are primitive.🙄
@@lovebarcelona9845 Hi, so far I am sure that all the ones I have reacted to were live. The way to tell is that if you are lip syncing your voice shape and timing does not match the sound. Vitas lip Syncs in almost all of his live performances. Dimash does not. However I would have to see the exact performance that RU-vidr was watching to make a comment on it :)
I chuckled watching your expressions while listening to his interpretation. My face was doing the same thing!! It's so beautiful and emotional that it resounds in our brain I think. So many surprises in this piece. Holy guacamole!!!!
yaaaay, I love this arrangement of this song, he did an amazing job, he turned it into something else as usual, I absolutely adore those Middle-Eastern runs, he's a master of of his voice
I enjoyed your reaction Caleb. I know and like the original but wow does he take this song to a whole new level. Yes the runs are super unique and beautiful! They almost have a middle eastern sound. His parents day that since he was a swimmer all his life this helped him with his breath control and ability to hold out those notes. Thanks again. I really enjoyed your reaction! You're going to see that he just keeps getting better after Singer 2017 and challenges himself to keep changing things up for his Dears.
Hi, Caleb, I like your reaction to Dimash👍👍 We love him a lot❤ This is not a flute, but a Kazakh national instrument - Sybyzgy with an unusual sound👌. Waiting for the next reaction to our Prince Dee❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your reaction! I appreciate it.Dimash it's not just a singer. He's a composer and instrumentalist. He's a musician. All musical arrangements make them alone and often made trouble at instrumentalists with its demands😊
Одна из моих любимых композиций,Димаш исполняет ее сногсшибательно!!!Концовка,вообще,выполнена безподобно!Реакция с детальным разбором очень понравилась!Подписка!!!☺😊😀😁😃😄😅
Caleb Coles, спасибо за реакцию 👌!!!! Димаш феноменален не только в исполнении, но и в умении донести чувства и эмоции!!! Жду вашего кавера!!! ❤️❤️❤️🎶🎶👏
Another testimony to his total vocal control and exquisite technique is how he after that insane last belt goes back to this quiet, soft almost whisper and it's crystal clear!
Just great how you can chop those sequences up and deliver such instructive and incisive facts about D's singing. You're the best! Great reaction once again. Thank you.
Thanks Caleb - awesome reaction & great analysis! I've always loved Lionel Ritchie's version but Di's version blows me away EVERY time! I know you said this is your favourite but I've said that too - until I hear the next one of his songs. He just keeps getting better!
When you think you've heart everything, Dimash just throw the next bomb right to your face. He is unbelievably good. His perfection is scary 😁. Thanks for the reaction.
Middleasterns, Kazakhestanian, Armenian, and Tukish runs But he is so clean, so clear, so pure even the greatest arab singers stuggle and try to avoid these kinds of runs Now when I listen to arab singers I laugh so hard coz I can't help myself from comparing them to Him He is such a Global Treasure Very nice reaction btw Greetings from the middleast
@skalongaable It is our culture, it might be new for you! But most of great singers improvise these runs on stage along with their mood and their feelings at that moment while singing live Enjoy it dear, we are lucky we live in a time where everthing is global and availble online. Greetings ❤🌺
Those kinds of Arabic runs are so usual in Eastern (Asian) countries. You can hear such runs a lot in most of their songs and Dimash did it perfectly and powerfully. Very impressive. At first, I was thinking that no one is going to sing this song even close to Lionel Richie let alone better, but in my opinion this is not the Lionel's Hello cover! This is Dimash version of Hello! Completely different. Glad you liked it. :)
Better call it Mid-eastern, but we can call it Arabic too 'cz i heard most of all the song from Arab (that comes to my country, Indonesia), it heard like Mid-eastern
thos run of the Middle East, this technique is a part of Traditional Middle Eastern music. such as Iran, turkey and the Arabic countries , in traditional Iranian music called tahrir and caused the breakdown and degeneration of sound in the throat, the singer of this broken voice repeats itself and rings it in different rhythms to make it a beautiful sound. This technique is extremely hard and requires a lot of training. That's why I'm very impressed when it's done by Dimash. This guy is really trying to make this sound It's not just talent, it's the result of many years of hard work, great reaction celab💟
@@CalebColesMusic Thank you for your attention, as far as I know, there are twenty four different types of this technique in traditional Iranian music, which are in many subcategories, the kind that Dimas used in this song called up rising, he started repeating "o" with a low note, and then, with a repeat of the word "hello", with top note, excuse me, my English is not good, and explaining this is very difficult
Your English is very good I can understand everything. That is very interesting to hear about the different techniques. We don't have any set techniques for runs like that in the west (although there are some common patterns and scales used, there is no convention around them).
Im sooo exited to see you react to his later songs, so many beautiful ones to see! Sinful passion, The love of tired swans, Akkuym, Mr Hyde, Love is like a dream ❤️
I thought you might be interested in some fun facts about this performance that I learned from other commenters, but I didn't see in the existing comments here. The flute is called a sybyzgy, a Kazakh (and Mongol) sideblown flute. Dimash sings I love you in three languages. First in English, then Mandarin (wo ai ni) in the middle and again at the end, then in Kazakh (men seni suyemin). At the very end, what he whispered was "thank you very much" in Mandarin.
Woohoo !!! You've made it to Hello !! There is another world of Performances waiting for you Post Singer Competition 😊🤗 I Love what he did with this classic song ! Absolutely AmaZing😍🤩😍 I'm with you on the Flute !! I love the arrangement 😊 That belt at the end is Incredible!! There is a lot in this perfrmance worth noting !! Have a good day Caleb 🌈
Wonderful Dimash reaction once again! Nice spotting Hua Chenyu too. I hope you check out more of his stuff too. I recommend child or ordinary path next from him 😊
Caleb, I'm so glad U finally got around to reacting to one of my all time favorite "Lionel Richie" songs. That epic Middle Eastern inspired "Melismatic" break in the song made the song unique in only the way DIMASH could in making it his own while at the same time preserving the integrity of Lionel's original message. I would be curious to know if Lionel has heard this version. Anyway, one can hope! *PLEASE do your ears a favor and REACT to (2) Igor Krutoy written songs that DIMASH brings to life as only he can: "Love Is Like A Dream" where you can hear DIMASHE'S lower register and talent for delivering heartfelt ballads & showcasing possibly one of his "Longest Sustained Notes" EVER in a Single Breath! I think this is his most beautiful performance to date! Here is the link to that performance: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xLEQzfqO_l0.html Also, I think you'd get a kick out of listening to "Mademoiselle Hyde" based on the the story of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde from the perspective of Hyde. See here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tXR1GCsLTSw.html (Both "Love Is Like A Dream" & "Mademoiselle Hyde" were written by Pianist, Writer & Composer Igor krutoy.) Dimash has collaborated with Mr. Krutoy in various showcases which has proven to be a match made in heaven. Absolute MAGIC! Take a listen & Enjoy! - J💕
Thank you so much for the detailed singer vocal analysis, and not just an OOH, AAH (which, of course, Dimash deserves too, hah) Another example of these Arabesque runs is in "Sinful Passion", where he does it much, much faster. As a layperson I keep trying to imagine what the vocal cords are doing through those runs ... are they going up and down, up and down? Whatever my self-analysis though, it fails miserably as I tend to sound like a warbling goat if I attempt replication. I'd love to see your analysis of the newer fancam of "Ogni Pietra". You can really see Dimash's mastery of embouchure and shaping the voice, given that the cam is centered on his face the entire song. His range continues to astound me! Also, love your version of SOS as well. Great channel!
Ur analysis are wonderful too😄big like again👍u have a very precise ear & point of view I must say which is a worthy talent too😘ur happy face makes us happy too💚Thank u🌹
Caleb, thank you as always. Two quick comments: 1. I find it amusing when young people think they're about to hear Adele, and are confused when the song starts. 2. Did you notice how much his pronunciation has improved from earlier videos? He has really worked hard on his English skills. Be blessed brother.
Kazakhs are half Turks, half Mongols. So, what Dimash does in the second part of the song is a return to his Turkish roots, as a small part of Sinful Passion is a reference to his Mongolian roots. Thanks for your grat job !
@@teardrop-in-a-fishbowl Yes I know. The brewing was obviously not done in a mathematical but human way. I was just simplifying and I also quoted Dimash in one of his interviews where, also simplifying, he said the same thing.
As a Kazakh, I want to mention that we have more Turk roots. We used to be one united country with present Turkey once. Then, we split for some reasons. So we mention Turk, we don't mention present Turkey population
no. he was in the low part of his chest voice, he can go much lower than that, but not using a pure chest voice. but still not in the super bottom of his chest, but those were low notes for him.
I have been llooking forward to this reaction for some time, and I was not disappointed: I knew that you would like Dimash's "Hello" ! :) It is my favourite Dimash performance also. Thank you for the many great insights, particularly on the tone Dimash uses. I think you will get a lot out of listening to "Sinful Passion" next: it showcases the non-Western origin of the runs Dimash uses, and more besides :)
