Dimash Kudaibergen was honored with an awards at the “Victoria” Russian National Music Awards on 5th December 2019 as the “Singer of the Year in Classical Music” for his rendition of Olimpico. He competed with major classical music stars in Russia.

This performance is from his solo concert (3 and half hrs) held in the capital city of Kazakhstan, Nursultan. Over 40K audiences from 60 countries in Astana Arena Stadium. 👍 The concert is uploaded in his channel.

I don’t know about this rendition, but Dimash sings this at his regular concerts. I saw him in Latvia last March. He also sang it as the opening. song at his digital concert last month. Shown in 100 countries. His longest note, I think, is 23 seconds on Sinful Passion.

Thanks. This is a 3-hour solo concert by Dimash "Arnau" in Kazakhstan, 40,000 spectators, including about 14,000, came from around the world to see him. Yes, Dimash is pretty good actor too. See MV Golden, of course with us. Can't wait 🥰

His solo concert in 1919 in Kazakhstan’s capital Nur-Sultan.... more than 3 hours! A friend of mine traveled there because of this concert and Dimash has blown her mind totally!!! He is unbelievable singing perfectly live, acting, communicating with the audience at this huge stage.... and I understood that by attending his solo in NY! He is from somewhere..... you may sign to his YT channel and watch these concerts, they are published!

Для информации: 1) Это 2-й сольный концерт "ARNAU" Димаша на родине. Июль 2019 года. Стадион "Астана Арена" вместимостью 35 000 человек. Из официальных источников известно, что на концерте побывало 44 000 человек. Приехали фанаты из 54-64 стран мира. Первый раз эту песню Димаш исполнил на II- Европейсках играх, который проходил в г. Минск, Республика Беларусь. 2) Первый сольный концерт "BASTAU" прошел в 2017 году, сразу после окончания китайского конкурса "I'm Singer-2017", где он занял 2-место. На этом конкурсе Димаш стал знаменитым в Китае после исполнения песни "SOS". Наутро он проснулся знаменитым с 600 000 000 миллионами просмотров на WEIBO (Это китайский аналог RU-vid или Instagram не помню). Ему сразу же предоставлена охрана...Как то так, вроде бы.

It was his concert in July 2019 and the tour is cut short by the pandemic. But I think the tour will resume in 2022.

Another enjoyable reaction. Igor Krutoy, the renowned Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer, and promoter, came out of retirement after witnessing Dimash's 2018 guest performance of "Sinful Passion" at the New Wave competition. They have frequently corroborated on projects ever since. Igor Krutoy composed this song for Dimash to perform at the opening of the 2nd European Olympic games in Minsk, Belarus, on June 21, 2019. "Olimpico," or "Ogni Pietra," was performed in Italian by Dimash. Ogni means "every, each, or all," and Pietra means "stone or rock." The song is essentially an address to the athletes, exhorting them to do their best in competition, urging them to believe in themselves.

It is Dimash’s solo concert....he does the same song at New Wave 2019 where Igor IS accompanying him on the piano, but I don’t think Igor is actually at this concert.... Dimash originally performed this song for the opening ceremony of the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus in 2019. Dimash is also being considered to sing this song at the Tokyo Olympics this year, 2021.....

Ogni Pietra (Olympico), composed by Igor Krutoy, Lyrics by Lilia Vinogradova - specifically for Dimash's vocal range for the Opening Ceremony of the European Games June 21st 2019 where Dimash first premiered it. An inclusive call to the athletes to go forward fearlessly and do their best, the world believes in them, they're, brave and strong and our champions. The East still write musical lyrics in very poet prose, especially such classical pieces like this. Makes one listen more closely. Love it! Great reaction.

Hola, soy una dears de Chile, Dimash estaba en uno de sus conciertos si no me equivoco pues ha dado varios y esta canción también la ha cantado en ellos, inclusive en el concierto digital que tuvo el 16 de enero comenzó con ella, pariticipo en el cambio de mando en USA por pertenece a la organización SisterCities, pero esa canción fue hecha para los juegos olímpicos del año 2019 de Kazajistán y se llama Ogni Pietra, el año pasado hizo unas canciones muy emotivas dedicada a la unidad, como We Are One y War And Peace

Leo...Your explanation of the lyrics and the theme are very edifying. I want to point out that Dimash sings both baritone and tenor register and then, he sings in the highest of soprano range. This is not only epic. It would seem to be impossible for a male singer to do. Dimash has stretched the boundaries of musical possibilities.

Still watching your reaction But you mentioned he shld be a good actor. So far he’s done virtually no speaking parts but reaction parts. Ck out his newest MV from his website GOLDEN. Modern opera with guitars and drums. It is a charge to the young competitors. Dimash was offered a position in the opera in his native country, but turned it down, as he wants to sing in many genres.

Some of us don't mind. At least I don't. I think it's for his English speaking viewers. I think anyone who speaks a 2nd language fluently knows you loose meaning in translation, so I find it cool that someone who speaks the language fluently is willing to go over the meaning to convey it's feeling. Sometimes translations don't mean as much in one language vs another if that makes sense.

I heard that after Dimash's digital concert last month, his producers are enforcing copyright much more stringently. Reactors have said some of their videos have been blocked or removed from YT. Since many of us Dears in the Western world (including me) discovered Dimash by watching reaction videos, I'm not sure if it's the best plan, just as Dimash is exploding in the West. But I certainly understand every artist's songs, books, performances, etc. are his livelihood, and Dimash has put in over 20 years of hard training, so his work product cannot always be given away for free. Plus Dimash and his management obviously have a vision of how to promote him, as evidenced by his recent expansion into episodic videos like GOLDEN. Dears LOVE Dimash for so many reasons...not only for his amazing voice, but also for the way his music can touch their souls, for his diversity, his performance skills on stage, his charisma, and his kind, gentle nature and good morals. As he goes forward, I hope he continues to produce the wonderful, wide variety of music he is so well-known for, because we Dears love it all -- his opera pieces, his "popera", his Kazakh folk songs, his Russian love ballads, his Chinese tear-jerkers, his movie themes, his videos, and the list goes on....😊
