I can’t talk for all the other guys, but I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit that I failed DDP1101 at uni 🙈. This was fundamental in my music degree and I ultimately had to get a pass through special means to attain my degree. This may explain why I have some deficiencies in Dimash Drop Pausing. Thank you for acknowledging the hard work it's taken, and continues to take, to do what Dimash does. Yes, he has so many gifts but he's also worked his butt off to get there. For me the things that are most impressive and move me the most are unmeasurable... how he embodies each performance in a way that is always authentic... his ability to make you FEEL and not just observe... and his compassionate, kind, playful, and humble nature.
The same here! It does irritate me a bit, too, when I hear supposedly well-educated music teachers and performers who talk about Dimash being an "alien" or wanting to see the "spaceship he arrived to Earth on". MTR should be applauded for commenting on how much time, effort and dedication Dimash has invested in his craft and instrument to reach the levels of excellence - sublimity - which he has.
The D8 one is unforgetable day, at Gakku 2017.. He composed the music himself when he was like 19 or something..I think he actually just got his master's degree in composition recently. Anyway, I really like your reactions and have been watching for a while now. And btw, another great song he composed himself more recently would be War and peace..(the version from his arnau concert in Kiev has the best audio) I really like that one cause it is a little funky.

Agree with your take on the epic composition. I liked that he used a children's choir on this version, to me it enhances the intent of the song vs the concert and arena versions that have a more dark look and feel including his gestures and countenance.

I am admittedly a demarche addict! I am an Admittedly a DIMASH ADDICT for multiple reasons however, one of the most pressing reasons I love Dimash is that I am an abstract artist. I was born with immense amount of talent but was discouraged from using any of that talent, as my mother was a classically trained “fine artist” and did not/still doesn’t find value in the abstract. I found art just three years ago during a very emotionally turbulent time of my life. I watched Dimash because I knowThat even with talent, he has had to work incredibly hard to get where he is. It inspires me to see someone with that much talent; to not be lazy. It is easy to just let people feed your ego and that continue to challenge yourself.

As you now know, Dimash's own fans seem to work against him sometime with their obsessive support of him. The irony of this is that Dimash himself holds profoundly deep respect for other artists and constantly is left explaining to the public that he is far from "perfect." He is his own biggest critic. I'm an old retired vocal teacher, musician, and performer, and I learned early in life that great singers know they always need coaching. Thanksfor your objective and grounded reactions.

And “Across Endless Dimensions”, a movie soundtrack where the producer googled “best voice in the world”, listened to Dimash and picked him for the song; it’s epic; he transforms his voice I to an electric guitar at the end...
I discovered Dimash about 6 months ago and I can honestly say I've never been blown away by any artist before but he is just out of this world. His perfect pitch, tone, colour and the emotion he sings with is truly magical. The two things that make him even more amazing is that after every show he takes his bows and then thanks all his orchestra and singers. Also he totally becomes one with the music, he's in the moment, when there is an instrumental period he's not fixing his hair or anything he's feeling the heartbeat of the music and it just flows through him. Three videos you must check out are Dimash singing Opera No2 by Vitas, he makes it his own and totally blows the original away. Dimash singing The Diva Dance song from the film The Fifth Element. The song was written to be sung by an Alien and they used sound effects to "sing the song" in the film. Dimash nails it. If you want to hear his highest known note you need to watch his performance of Unforgettable Day at the Gakku concert. Enjoy 😍
