Beautiful reaction, thank you! I smiled when you mentioned Dimash's voice could be louder or more in front in this song. I thought the same when I listened to this song for the first time - but then I remembered that noting is accidentally when it comes to Dimash and his performances. So now I think it's on purpose, and such a strong message in this song: The voice of peace being nearly overwhelmed by the (musical) chaos in the world. That's my take on this now and it makes this awesome song even more compelling! 👍

I need more Dimash composition. If War and Peace is my all time favourite of his already perfect collection I can’t imagine what else in store. I hope he release more of his own composition one day!

My understanding is he wrote the song & basically the lyrics, but he collaborated with a Chinese writer to beautifully translate it to Mandarin lyrics.

Hi Jacqueline, I always love your reviews, I learn from you about how to listen to music in new levels. I wanted to tell you that I purchased some of your shawls for my wife. We were going to go on a cruise next week (it’s her 60th birthday today) and I thought it would be great for her. She loves them! And can’t wait to wear them. However, we ended up postponing the cruise… you see, we have two foreign exchange students, and one of them is from Ukraine. We decided we can’t leave him for a week, and instead, we are driving down to Florida (northern Florida, Pensacola area) and spending a week together. His family is in Russia occupied area, so in an ironic way, they are safer than if in fighting areas. So this song is very meaningful to me, and I’m so glad you reviewed it, just before we go on our tip in a few days, and we use your shawls. Kinda like the stars are aligning. Our student doesn’t appreciate Dimash, but I might send him your review anyway. Also, ironically, last year, Dimash sang this song in Kiev. I don’t think this performance is his that performance, but Dimash is from the middle of a Russia, China, and all the other conflict regions, and it’s hitting his homeland as well. This song is an attempt to get people and nations to open their eyes to the futile ness of hatred.

Ok.dimash est une star mondiale mais reconnaissez une autre talentueuse chanteuse du kazakistan',elle est jeune certes mais elle est réellement talentueuse .elle s'appelle daneliya tuleshova..elle a une voix musicale'melodieuse'envoûtante Je trouve que l '*a*g*t* a été injuste avec elle lors de la finale.ils ne l'ont même pas ménagé. Ils lui ont annoncé brutalement qu'elle était classée dixième(10 eme).heureusement qu'en plus de sa beauté,de son talent',elle persévère et continue sur sa lancée. Intelligente ,réfléchie ,elle a compris que son jeune âge lui permet de relever tous les défis (toutes les brimades même injustes et sans fondement Bref! Pour cela,je ne m'intéresse plus au ** a.g.t***dommage car auparavant ,je m'intéressais bcp aux nouveaux talents .seul Simon reste crédible.
