Vortex's voice and the way it cuts through is just amazing. It is exactly what Dimmu is missing from recent releases. I kinda wish Nick was healthy enough to be up on stage with them as his drumming was amazing.

Hell yeah! Dimmu with Children of Bodom, Nevermore and Hypocrisy back in 2003...still one of the best shows I've ever attended. Love this lineup. Life is too short for BS. Glad to see them collaborate again!

İmagine a vocal that even chorus, orchestra can't fill the void of. That's how insanely good the vocals of ICS Vortex. The amount of melody in his voice is insane.

I never thought we'd see the day Vortex and Mustis played with Dimmu again! Holding out hope to see Astennu join them soon

I say this both as a singer and as someone who grew up listening to them... Vortex's voice is the best it has EVER been. He not only reaches those highs now, he has a lot more control and utilizes more techniques than I've ever seen him use in a live performance. Seeing him, Mustis and Tjodalv with the gents actually made my evening. As for other drummers, I of course respect both Hellhammer and Nicholas Barker, and wish Mr. Barker a speedy recovery. However, lets not forget that Spiritual Black Dimensions, with all of its intensity and insane drumming was all Tjodalv. It is nice to know that they are on good enough terms to not reject performing together. Whatever comes next, I trust all the gents' judgement.

It's been 25 years since Tjodalv, Mustis and Vortex were together onstage. The only one missing was Astennu. I still miss his killer solos...

I can't believe! It's like a dream but is real 🤘🏻 Vortex's voice is so beautiful, perfect high notes and Mustis has such a special way of playing that reaches the deepest part of the soul.

Absolutely enthralling. I hope this makes Shagrath realize that it was their biggest mistake firing these two. But good to see they buried the hatchet deep enough to make this happen. If they could stay for future albums and get Astennu and Nagash on board to create something special again, this would be a dream come true.

Now THAT'S the way the song should sound. Nice to see the boys back together again.

The 3 main keys that I feel helped unlock the complete essence of Dimmu. So glad Shagrath, Silenoz, and Galdar were able to make this happen especially after the backlash when these guys were let go. So amazing, never thought I'd see the day yet here it is. This is DIMMU BORGIR at it's finest!!!!

I hope that they get to tour more with this lineup and put their differences behind. With that said, it's important to remember that much like in any other relationship and team, it's important that the people click together. They may all be professionals and even great guys on their own, if it doesn't work as a team - it doesn't work as a team.

At this point, with all this repercussion from Mustiis, Vortex and Tjodalv's special featuring, Shagrath and the other members from Dimmu Borgir are certainly talking to their 3 former companions and putting an end to all the feuds and personal disagreements they've had over the last 15 years. . In other words, they are dotting their i's and reconciling each other. Mustiis, Vortex and Tjodalv are the 3 Vertebral Columns of Dimmu and for the band to recover its past glory, their return is totally necessary!!!
