Stormblåst Cool to see how close our rankings are. Fucking great band, but I'm not a fan of the two latest albums. Like you said, Eonian has one or two decent songs, but not enough for me to play the album again. Stormblåst was basically my gateway into black metal. Broderskapets ring was the first BM song I ever loved, and it's still super special in my book. I actually feel a bit bad putting DCA at sixth spot, because there's some songs on it (especially the last two on the album) I consider borderline masterpieces.
Great ranking!! Stormblast is absolutely amazing...always kind of a toss up for me between that and Enthrone for my fave by them. Ya its unfortunate that the last 2 albums have not been great, but I still really dig most of their stuff
I can understand that...they definitely took a totally different direction after those first 3. I like a few others as well, but ya their early work is the classic stuff
