I'm very familiar with this 97 year old diner as I worked right next door to them when I was in my late teens about 25 years ago. I also know the owner who is the one making the soda. It was interesting because just like I was in my late teens he was in his late twenties if I'm correct. I've had lunch, purchased not only these iconic soda but had their coffee bacon and eggs almost every morning before work. Once you walk in this shop you are transported back to a time where people would sit and enjoy each other's company, no phone in hand or social media.
They still use cocaine they just buy it from a company that takes out the active ingredient and use it as flavoring, and for the company that makes it they then sell it to pharmaceutical companies.

Every father/son, father/daughter, husband/wife, should take a few hours out of their hustle and bustle, go to an old fashioned place like this, just have a treat, and some relaxing conversation. When your kids grow up, it will be a great memory for them.

Most restaurants with drink fountains serve it this way since the syrup and soda water lines are indeed separate. They just get mixed as it goes into your cup
Ahh The old fashion coke drink !!!!!!! Something the men and woman of my grandparent's generation would have enjoyed either during the 30's or 40's when they were either teens or in their 20's. WoW !!!!! What memories they must have had of this drink !!!!!!
We had a diner in the part of town I grew up in that served coke floats just like this. They had the best burgers ever and I was sad when it closed. Miss the old school places
