I preferred it when Liv did it. She just holds up a finger to Verity, says "Do you mind?" and immediately goes back to laying into Maeva like Verity hadn't said a word. The best thing about it is that Verity actually shut up for Liv. Total power move. When Maeva shushed her, Verity just kept talking and Maeva had to shut up. 😂

James saying "Why would we?" HAHAHA, He knows all too well (from his personal experience) that when Verity hears that someone is happy she would instantly find ways to ruin it for them. Verity is literally in the EXACT SAME POSITION AS LIV. She's doing the exact same thing. I'm glad everyone else at the table called it out, that is ridiculous. Verity is crying her eyes out simply because she thought she would have the last laugh moving on before Tristan with Charlie and rubbing it in his face, and now she doesn't get to have that as Tristan has moved on with liv. I used to like Emily but I have to agree with Maeva,she's not close with her or with James either.And it's evident from the fact that when she talk to James it made him deeply uncomfortable,if they were close i reckon James wouldn't mind having that kind of conversation with Emily.
You see how James doesn't get angry at Tristan for calling out Maeva? He even defends Tristan by saying "It might not be a quick shag". James knows that Tristan is a genuine cool dude and their friendship is worth more than these other people.

I’ve lost count of the relationships or sexual encounters she’s had but deep down, I think she’s got some insecurities or attachment issues.she tends to go for unavailable men, male friends, exes of her friends etc. then she gets bored and moves on quickly.

I have been saying for a while that Liv and Tristan are not going to be serious like Tristan probably wants. And he obviously lacks the foresight to see she is not very mature either. Liv also likes to turn on the waterworks and get babied by her friends for making poor/selfish decisions too (painting Digby as evil because he didn't want her out partying every night when she was in a relationship). Verity is doing the same crap (because Tristan had standards in a relationship) only no one is falling for it/babying her. You'd think Tristan would not want that sort of drama anymore. I think Liv would like a guy like Mytton (or someone like him) over any of the other men and have thought so for a while. Also, Charlie needs to stay out of things that have nothing to do with him. Verity is stupid thinking Charlie is cuter and more of a catch than Tristan because he is not. He is an absolute bore and his hairstyle is horrendous.
the whole reason Verity is upset, is because her BEST FRIEND started dating her ex..... Tristan and Charlie weren't friends.... not the same thing whatsoever.
