The young fisherman and his dad and sister were a ray of sunshine on a miserable day. The young man was full of the joys of life enjoying his fishing with his family no matter what the weather was like. These days I've turned into a sunny day fisherman. I could take a leaf out of their book. 😊
Pleased you finally caught a Mackerel. They're such lovely fish to eat and catch. I've caught them on the fly and they go like a train. You've inspired me to go to the coast for the day. It would be great to see you catch a Bass! I hope you did share those fish you naughty boy!
Always great to hear from you my friend. The weather has been terrible in Ireland for camping. The worst wettest July ever on record. Fishing is the same it's terrible. I'm doing lots of overtime in work and i always take my days off. Not this year. I was out the last few days after work mackerel fishing caught nothing. Nothing. Today i caught a few tiny ones. It can only improve. The seals in the sea are going up river looking for salmon going up past the city center out into the country side 20 30 miles up river. That's a first. It's a disaster. But we will keep casting. That's all we can do. Hope you have better luck than me and catch some mackerel for your dinner and don't forget your wife if she likes mackerel.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hi Scott. The only thing keeping my marriage going is my wife loves fresh fish. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂so she enjoyed her dinner very much and I've earned brownie points. 😂😂😂 28 years were married. That's a lot of fish. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 i tried her once with fish bought from the marked 😅 that was not a good idea. If you caught them tomorrow they would be gone off she said.😅😅😅😅😅

So good I played it twice, I just love your fun vids and I wanted to hear your lovely version of Early Morning Rain once again, the Gordon Lightfoot classic, sadly he’s gone too now like a lot of our generations idols all popping their clogs and Sinéad O Connors sudden exit just last week, makes us realise that we should cherish our finite time and make the best of what we’ve got left. I too caught my first mackerel off Ballycotton pier back in the late 1970’s on the feathers, pulling them out 3/4/5 at a time, a great thrill for any kid. Roasting here for the past few weeks in the high 30s tipping 40C an odd time, but still wouldn’t swap it for soggy Irish Summers…smoked trout would entice me home…oh my God…😋

Please God the weather will improve and I'll get away for a weekend of fishing and make a new camping video. Went fishing down to cobh after work today but the time of tide was wrong it should be good fishing at around 19.00 this evening. The high tide is 21.00 I had to leave at 17.00 with only one small mackerel. We won't tell hilda about it. LOL.
