Seriously, who doesn't love dino nuggets? Fried chicken nuggets are literally the best thing in the entire world. You can do the following recipe without the dinosaur cookie cutters, but what's the fun?
2 lbs ground chicken
5 eggs
1.5 cups panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp whatever spice u want
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup buttermilk
Frying oil
1. Combine chicken, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, and spices.
2. Line the baking sheet with greased parchment and press out the meat. Freeze!
3. Cut with dino cookie cutters and place again in the freezer.
4. Set up your dredging station. In one bowl, add the remaining bread crumbs. In another, add flour and a few spices if desired. In the final bowl, add the remaining eggs and buttermilk.
5. Dredge the nuggets in flour, buttermilk, then breadcrumbs.
6. Fry at 375 for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Make a dipping sauce and enjoy!
