well... that's because these figures cost 3-4x the price of a Studio 86 dinobot.

These are Masterpieces...Studio Series are CHUGs There is no comparison....

@@trinhvantiendung583 No, these are classic-style Dinobots. Even if they could, it'd probably collapse under its own weight from the sheer size of them.

They did come out in the '80's, 85 to be exact

I've got the original G1 set lucked into a few years ago unfortunately they were all played with although they all still function I need to research and find out how to restore them to all their glory for display

Gigapower dinos are way bigger and heavier than the GCreation and toyworld 3P dinos that combine. GCreation’s combined mode is slightly taller than the Toyworld combined mode, and slightly shorter than the CW/UW Devastator. Having these Gigapower dinos combine is a *BAAAAADDD* idea.

Then there are also those power of the primes dinobots that can combine but are also alot bigger than the normal ones

@@doomchap7614 those were not "a lot" bigger than the originals. The original potp deluxe sized limbs were upscaled to voyager size (similar to the original's grimlock). I got the colorful power ranger-esque version bots when they first came out, and they had *a little* die-cast. That "little bit" of extra weight did not help their, already relatively weak, limb-joints necessary for supporting combined mode. The OSKO volcanicus size was _still_ *significantly* shorter than the CW/UW Devastator. The Gigapower weight and sizes are in an entirely different class. The ratchet strength necessary to hold a GP bot out as an arm would be crazy!

The GP dinos are each about the size of the OSKO Grimlock from the MP8 mold. In fact, I used that OSKO grimlock as a standin until GP released their version of grimlock.
