I still recall the first time I smelled it at the duty free right when it came out first. I recall thinking “This one is good!” ❤

Stunning perfume that I adore since its release. I was too poor and too young (I was 19) to even smell it when it came out. My town was small and had no fancy shops. But I saw the add in a magazine first and I loved it so much. The girls wet body with neon lights reflecting on it...I was in awe. I wanted to try it so much. I bought it after 3 years from its release. I loved it. I thought it was very grown up, evening perfume and very sexy. Wasnt sure if I had the right personality to wear it then. But I grew up into a woman and it became a part of me...I was devastated when I heard original formular is gone. Panicked, in fact. Managed to get 100ml bottle and its the most precious items I own😢

I was only 14 years old when i smelled dior addict and got it as a sample from a purchase, i got a 20 ml sample on a small dior suitcase. i would use the smallest amount for years. the vanilla was so amazing.. and the green earthy notes too. Many years later when i started working ...i got the full size but it was already the 2012 version. it was already not the same and i felt it instantly

Yes I remember that. Never have I ever bought more bottles. I can't believe it's been reformulated!! I'm sitting now with the Thierry Wasser version. The old(the one I have) is a masterpiece. I've never had anything like it. It's so addictive and spicy/woody/vanilla cream. . Too bad about the new formula.

I needed to see this I've been trying to explain this for years I miss it, my favourite perfume I have the beautiful original bottle I wore it on my wedding day in 2010 & also have the new one of course but nothing beats the original 😢

You hit the nail on the head when you said the new formulation is pungent, whereas the older one isn't. I gave my sister the older formulation years back, and she's holding onto it for dear life 😅

The og version is smoother. I have not smelled the latest batches in a while though. Not sure how the most current ones smell now that Francis became perfume director at Dior.

I just went to buy a new bottle, and realised instantly it didn’t smell the same I am absolutely devastated - I understand them not being able to use as much oak moss but they also stripped it down so bloomin much that it’s lost its magic

Yes, love it but the reformulation isn't actually that bad at all. I sniffed it a little while ago and I think I'm going get it 😊 There's still something special in Dior Addict.

Dacob is/was always beautiful, face didnt change, only the hair😉. I find it funny that there are teams Dacob short/blond/long hair😂. I love the way he changed over the years like a chameleon❤
