@@Kathhhh294 if the double vision is caused due to squint then ask the doctor to prescribe u with prism glasses,and wear them for atleast 6 month... U can see the improvement after couple of months❤️ Don't worry ❤️

@@molkisha thanks for responding 🙏. My double vision was due only to high myopia with too much difference in correction powers. I had cataract surgery done in both eyes to eliminate this difference. Being 57 this was easier. This problem was totally gone immediately after. One can try contact lenses of correct powers for each eye separately instead of glasses. This was my exoerience but doc knows better. Wishing you well 🙏

So for you it's automatic? Correct me if I am wrong But I was able to switch my vision to double and normal anytime

Me again. I have a hard time also wiith typiny my texts. I have no idea that the text Above cAme out so Awful. I read it be 4 I went on I spent it & in the it didn't look anything like I t did when I just Read it? @@molkisha Better lately, but have been really resting eyes, won't know until I have e.g. driven for a few hours looking in distance. Awaiting MRI (backlogged) and followup with ophthalmologist.

Wait so you can't switch like the double vision back to normal? I can do that switching my vision from double to normal anytime although if I constantly switch to double vision my eye starts hurting

What was your solution. Was is warming,massaging,cleaning ? I’m in the same boat now. One eye seeing double. Optometrist told me it was meibum glands that I need to keep clean twice daily.

@@rikdol really? Glands being blocked can cause this as well? Because of dry eye or? Ahh resolution to this?

@@molkisha well. His explanation was that it makes the ‘tearfilm’ blurry. And I do notice a difference after cleaning but so far the double vision stays. The tear film stabilizes the corneal surface. And if this gets disturbed all kinds of weird artifacts can sometimes be seen.

@@rikdol I’ve heard that dry eyes can cause this, but it’s so weird that it has started all of a sudden for both of us? Or maybe I just paid attention to it? Sounds like it could be astigmatism also, no? Let me know if you have any solutions eventually or see another doctor.

@@rikdol good luck!! 🙏 Im the same way. I do have blocked glands (blepheritis) and I have dry eye and I have the ghosting vision especially when I read or look far!

I also have this, it's called bilateral monocular diplopia or ghosting vision, I see like an aurora of the object I'm looking at, I see everything like that, but it's more noticeable at night with the moon separating further, the image is frustrating and I've had suicidal thoughts. I don't want this. The truth is, but we have to find a solution. Today I woke up better, it went away but I'm sure it will come back at any moment, and as you continue, you found a cure. I hope you did.

mine is like yours, where it doesn't really seem to separate but just like the words I am reading are like a bit off vertically and it's present in both eyes

Same. I assume we all have really high digital usage because it did start with my eyes burning and stinging and then one day i started seeing double in both eyes vertically. Its like layer upon layer.

@@molkisha yes I got better , even when I went to the doctors I forgot about it plus u get use to it , I never gotten treated it if it’s bad u should go to the eye doctor 💕

I believe double vision has a lot to do with them my anxiety but there's something else going on and makes me unbalanced and I believe this is where I have I don't know how I get answers from her do you have a great day
