Whimsicott misses a single Leech Seed after soloing four Pokémon with Sub/Seed/Moonblast. “Okay, Whimsicott, you have to do a little better than that.”
I love random battles and tournament gameplay. I prefer random battles videos due to the consistency of uploads that comes with randoms battles videos, but I don’t think any of us would complain either way. We just want to watch any content you will give us.
@@Emulatedemblem I cant imagine it being stressful lol its just a game and there are no stakes. Its not like its a tournament battle or something its just against randos online. If someone got stressed out by that they probably should not be playing the game.
@@kayden2119that may be the case for you and some people out there but experiences differ from person, some people hate losing regardless of stakes or it being a “just a game”. Just saying it probably doesn’t matter because it’s just a game without the person himself saying so sounds quite insulting/demoralizing if you’d be talking about something someone enjoys doing and spends time trying to improve in(especially when making content). Then again it doesn’t have to be that deep but at the same time it could be.
@@kayden2119it easy to say just step away but you never know what kind of pressure they might feel to keep making content and not diverge because it might hurt the channel etc. You never really know.
“We have to dodge” *immediately dodges* I swear Freezai isn’t commentating for the video, he’s just recounting the events of the game for RNGesus so it can be rigged in his favour
I like your breakdowns of tournament gameplay, but I absolutely LOVE hearing your thought process in real time for random battles- combined with the chaos of all the situations that random battles can produce. I like playing random battles myself, and you've helped me become a better player.
At 11:15 when he talks about Tera is super cool. I’ve noticed just thru watching him play that he equates use of Tera to the worth of about 1 pokemon, but I do also notice he very rarely feels comfortable using Tera early so maybe it’s more equatable to a specific type of pokemon or something like that.
I think often the most valuable thing about tera is forcing your opponent to second-guess their decisions, so in many cases it's more valuable in your pocket than when deployed. If you burn it early, you'd better get a lot of value from it, because you're reducing the degrees of freedom that your opponent has to deal with for the rest of the battle.
8:50 I think RanBats is more entertaining to watch but knowing about tournament things is more informative. It's nice to see what you've got going on that side as well.
Consistent rand bats uploads are elite, but there's something about tournaments and the matches actually mattering that makes games really entertaining
Btw I love both Randbats and tournament gameplay. A mix of both would be good, even if you're only doing tournament stuff for while in-between spurts of Randbats when there's no tournies on.
it was peobably the file name, it was uploaded on april 2nd so i’m guessing he forgot to add a title and it was the file name, which he might organize by date like that
It realy feels like Freezai is in a different mindset compared to last randbat series cause for like the last 3 episodes he’s been playing almost flawlessly and never on tilt very enjoyable
I love how you go through your reasoning through these videos it really helps me improve my own random battles play! One question though, how did you add the weaknesses/builds on the tooltip of the opponents pokemon?
I enjoy any and all content you produce. I love when you're on the ladder especially. I would LOVE to see some ladder gameplay for UU or some of the smaller tiers so we can see a bigger variety of mons and team comps! Most importantly, make content playing a game you enjoy because the audience can definitely tell when you don't and it makes a difference big time. I'm just happy to see you having a good old time on randoms :)
I do like the random battles gameplay, it's interesting to see you make what you can with the mons and I do think it helps my pay in randoms what i like most is tournament content where there's more of a defined story to follow, whether all battles in one video or just individual play sessions
For myself, I am a daily randbats stan but breaking it up every so often with tourney play certainly spices things up. I wanna see my boy Freezai at the top of that ladder!
Honestly I enjoy tournament gameplay and randoms, tournaments because its a high calibre level of play that I’m not in, and random battles because I’ve personally been high on random battle ladders in the past (Gen 8) and rands are fun to watch.
I like the random battles as it’s helped me get a lot better at the format. But I’d like to see more tournament games, especially of just different meta games.
Bro I have a honest question I’ve been watching you for a few weeks now. Do you play RuneScape by chance because this RuneScape yter named Meter or parkingmeter and you have identical voices 😂
Per Bulbapedia: Trick fails if: - Neither has a held item - The user is a wild Pokemon - The target is behind substitute - The target has sticky hold. So I was wrong lol
Whats the exact music that plays at the start? Its pretty good and i coudnt find it anywhere unfortunately. from the soundfont its a bw/b2w2 remix of something, or a remix of a song from that game.
i 100% prefer random battles bc it just feels more dynamic and it feels more entertaining to watch imo. maybe do random battles tournies when they come up
I personally prefer tournament battles, cause we get to have more commentary, they are also more interesting, less repetitive, less messy and luck based, I like the randbat series too tho
I personally prefer tournament gameplay, although the fact that I watch this randbat video far enough to see the question defenitely means I still like seeing a bit of randbat.
Honestly such a continued streak of wins for Freezai, both Pokémon and non Pokémon. Took on a shady sponsor, got insane amounts of hate and abuse for it. Withdrew, came back with a well thought out statement. Promises of future tournament coverage. Hopefully Randbats 4-2 incoming.
Randbats videos are easily my favourites, even though i like the tournament ones too. Only thing i don't like is u making weird plays a lil too often and then relying on luck
That Dragonite has an ability called 'multiscale'. It was introduced in gen 5 as a dreamworld ability and it reduces damage taken by moves by half when HP is full.
Who is Freezai? For the blind, he is the vision. For the hungry, he is the chef. For the thirsty, he is the water. If Freezai thinks, I agree. If Freezai speaks, I listen. If Freezai has one fan, it is me. If Freezai has no fans, I don't exist.
Bruh, not you using clickbait titles too. I unsubbed from MoxieBoosted for doing this exact thing. If you're making a gameplay video, don't add a "here's why" or something else that suggests that you're going to give an in-depth analysis. It's misleading, and I'm not happy when I click on a notification expecting to watch an analysis vid and I get a 30 minute long gameplay and commentary vid.
