I'm a huge DS/MK fan, when I was younger, this was my "morning routine" song for years. I just put the CD in, and played this song every morning while getting dressed and everything 😃 nice reaction from you, glad you enjoyed it 🙂 we're still waiting for a reaction to 'Are We In Trouble Now', believe me, you won't regret it 😉

its a great song. and btw u only need one song for morning routine thats fast! im so slow in morning i need 3 hours or more for everything... shower, teeth brushing, breakfast, a small meditation and some household chores.

Thank you for the reaction, it is very gratifying to see them and how they react. Luckily there is a lot of Dire Straits material to continue discovering. Regarding Lions, those Lions are the monuments that are in Trafalgar Square in London the entire situation that he observes around him, wonderfully described. A hug!😊

The year was 1978...I was interrailing thru europe from Sweden down to Greece...The island of Naxos...Every where you hear Direstraits...The sun was shining...it was warm....the girls moore beautiful than ever, maby because the beer was so cheep...Dire Straits was conquering the world. Thank you for another lovely reaction! This is one of my favorite songs from their debut album. Love the vivid storytelling and guitar work. I think its quite amazing how great of a range Mark has had over the years, he really has developed many styles and they are all incredible.

Your reaction was great. "Rockpalast" was a TV show in Germany, Dire Straits and many other great bands could be seen "live" there at the beginning of their careers. I'm still glad today that I was able to experience it back then. greetings from Germany😘

Just so you know, I discovered Mark and Dire Straits in 1979 and the two of you feel about them EXACTLY as I do. Exactly. Recently, Lions and Wild West End: those 'small' songs are on my list, too. Goodness is good!

On the back deck in the morning with coffee, on a drive, in the park, at the club, anytime anywhere is a good listen to Dire Knopfler. Ha, love them/him since Sultans of Swing days.🎸🎶 And my girlfriend and I love watching your videos 😊

To me the first Dire Straits album was their best, it was so raw and real. I like all their other music but first album was the best by far.
