Amazing! I’m a big fan of Dire Straits and I love the fact that you incorporate the live version on your work. Mark Knopfler’s genius never was restricted to studio records, and neither should be the work of those who pay tribute to him

Beautiful job on my favorite part of Sultans. The interplay between Alan Clark, and then later Jimmy Cox and Matt Rollings and MK. Alan Clark transformed Dire Straits much more than he was given credit for.

except this cover and that of Paul Wells (a real integral piano transcription of the original soundtrack) all other covers till now do not include this last iconic solo of the original live performance so they don't have any thing to do with sultans of swing when missing and lacking it's iconic melody and core pattern.... really like it... very nice performance... thanks.

There is something that attracts us both to Dire Straits. When this song hit in the '70s, there were parts that attracted me that aren't what I pay attention to now. The repeating 8 chords that you use to build the whole piece around is the beauty I see now. You capture those sounds better than I've heard anyone do. Similar to "mark knopfler a night in london 1992" video, starting at midpoint. I love all of your mark knopfler pieces. And wondering why you have not published a cover for Romeo and Juliet - same potential to capture the underlying beauty exposed (see same concert referenced above).
