In each episode of DiResta (every other Wednesday at 2pm PT), artist and master builder Jimmy DiResta (Dirty Money, Hammered, Against the Grain, Trash for Cash) lets us into his workshop, to look over his shoulder while he builds whatever strikes his fancy. On this episode of DiResta, Jimmy gives an old set of moose antlers he found in his upstate New York farm house a proper mounting.
For more info on this video, tools, materials, sketchbook images, and Jimmy's notes on the build, check out this post on MAKE: makezine.com/vi...

Using the scrap to clamp. Very good idea
@lawrencegoralski3029

JimmyDiResta wants to sit somewhere. Somebody is sitting there already JimmyDiResta tells them to move. They say it is not his seat. JimmyDiResta says it is. They ask where his name is on it. JimmyDiResta pulls out black spraypaint and his trusty stencil. *spraypaints his name on seat* JimmyDiResta right there. The person has nothing to say but 'touché' and walks away. JimmyDiResta sits down victoriously.

Thanks for the video! I used your methods to create my moose mount this year and it looks pretty good! One thing I did that I’d recommend is filling cotton stuffing under the leather to make it look more round and not as loose

I know, of course, Sir! I was just kidding, I'm a HUGE (really HUGE) fan of yours!!! I was just making a pun about you placing your name everywhere on tools, etc... Sorry, I wasn't funny... I truly think you are on of the most amazing builders I've ever known. I'm studying to be an engineer and a lot of times to try to figure out what to do I think "what would he do?", you are a real inspiration to me, Sir. Kindest regards from Brazil.

Mr. Diresta, why use manual tools for some projects but electric for others. At the beggining of the video it seems like you could have accomplished cutting that wood with a table or miter saw.
