Does this work with legend vies or drafting views? Is it possible to Add and image or a "haexagon" around the text ?

Hi, I have an issue. I have a table that I want to insert which has some merged cells in the header. I import it and adjusted in Revit, but the problem is that when I open again Revit, it automatically updates the table and all the merged cells are gone. How can I cancel the automatic update of the file?
