im a little late but it’s basically just the two clamps, two bolts that are connecting from the carburetor to the throttle cable and just wiggle it out, there’s a couple good videos that i saw and helped me out. imo putting it back in is harder then taking it out
i have a 2019 husqvarna tc125 that me and my dad got to run the other night, and i made sure the carb had ran through all the fuel before leaving it so the jets dont get clogged. But today i went to start it and i turned the fuel on and it wont stop leaking out. I keep having this issue and weve torn the carb off twice now. Idk what to do.
I just picked up a 2002 Yamaha yz250f I put gas in it and it’s leaking pretty much out the carburetor and the petcock does not shut off fully either 😭 lol
I did the exact same process on my 2001 yz 125 to clean the carb inside and out and it’s still leaking from the lines just like yours did what might be the problem will i might need to buy a new carburetor?
my carbs is leaking on my 06 but like a big leak, i cheked that the float is moving right and the needle seems to block the flow when i blow in the fuel hose. I reassemble the bike and after a 10 minute ride, leak is back. didnt chek the little o ring tho ?
Curious as to what you think happened exactly the shred those gears? Looked like you just bottomed out good and hard and I’m not sure why that would have done it. Trying to avoid doing the same!
Hey Terrin! Thanks for the comment! My only guess is that I’m entirely too heavy for the bike, and maybe the chain was a bit too tight for that big of a jump. I had some issues with the chain being too loose and when i would dig into a corner i could feel it slip a tooth on the rear sprocket. So i tightened the chain up. My only guess is i tightened it too tight, and when i landed, it put way to much pressure on that output shaft and made it just shear the teeth off of the gear internally in the engine. I could be wrong, just my guess. It’s a lot of work pulling the engine down that much to get to the transmission, so i really hope the replacement gears i got are going to fit. Lol
Tynka Tyme Me too man! I’ll definitely be wary of landing that hard when I get mine. I weigh around 210 so I’ll probably be in danger of doing the same thing. I’d love a video about proper chain adjustment if you ever get around to it. This will be my first bike and I’m super excited but definitely worried that not knowing little things like that is gonna lead to a broken bike and an empty wallet haha
