Hello my friends. This footage was taken in the rocky canyons of Arizona. This is a jeep riding area just outside of Phoenix. In the video, I'm riding with my friend Beau, the owner of Ready To Ride Rentals. This was one of our days off between events so we decided to go on a fun ride with just the two of us so that we could get into some really gnarly stuff.

Megs, at what point in the "trail" did it occur to you why you never came across any other riders ? ( other than a skeleton or two with a well faded out dirt bike with the seat foam ripped to shreds from vultures laying beside the bones ) LOL.

Awesome footage and amazing skills. Out front and knowing where to go would be some epic footage from your perspective. You definitely had great line flow and had phenomenal setup for a lot of really technical transitions, but were held back at times. Props to you and everyone, that was some serious terrain to dirt bike in.

Tubliss became a fad in the mountains around here but our rock is either broken shale or talused ryholite with really sharp edges. If you have tubliss and rip out a side wall you are screwed. If you puncture the high pressure tube, you are screwed. The guys who can afford them swittche to mousse and the rest of us ride 4mm tubes

That look so rad! I love those technical sections that are great if you can keep momentum ,but a real challenge to get going if you lose it. That adrenaline rush trying to make it is amazing.

Now I see why you want the least clutch pull effort ie Magura, that's some nasty terrain to maneuver through. I thought for sure you were going to take a bath in that water hole, but nooo, hopped right out 👍🏻

I can understand why some people like this kind of terrain, the thrill of not breaking any bones or your bike, but this is not for me, I like to be moving, some rocks and techy stuff is ok but not just constant rocks like this, great video tho, please keep them coming I was at rrmt one day when you were there and saw you ride by with a group

Same here. I'm 55, short, and I love rocky rooty technical terrain, but when a mistake and one foot hitting air can mean serious injury, well I'm done on that terrain. When riding requires getting off the bike to either muscle it over something or getting help, I've met my match and am no longer having fun. But at 3:00 that is freaking amazing getting up that giant ledge. A+ on nailing that to Meg.

What trail is that Meg? I’m confident I’ve ridden it before but it also looks way different on camera. Looks like there’s been a lot of rain and erosion. I guess I should say I’m assuming it’s the mile markers area out near Wickenburg?

It’s not really a dirt bike trail. It’s a canyon that’s supposed to be a “jeep trail” but I’ve never seen Jeeps on it. It’s not the mile markers area.

I run a nice gummy tire almost all the time but they work especially well on rocks. My go-to tires are the Kenda ibex, the Kenda gnarly, and the Dunlop at81EX.

I mean if you easy is what you want then sure! I’m not looking for easy. That’s why I like hard enduro. Not to say trials riding is easy by any means. But it would be easier to get a trials bike through this terrain.
