Thanks for the info. Knowledge is power. Keep the videos coming. For a guy who builds his own modified it’s nice to have guys like you who can help the little guy go just a little faster.

Just saw your video. Guess I'm confused about the right rear getting more traction and making the car tighter? If the right rear gets more traction isn't that pointing the nose of the car to infield then making the car looser? Good video!

With roll steer, the RR should point in line or outside the RF. Pointing outside the RF will help the car turn and traction up.

Whats your thoughts about running a straight bar instead of a J bar? Ump A mod. I know it's gonna plant the lr much more.

I know the Bob Pierce mods were always a straight bar. Depending on the angle, it will make the car roll more. These to me were always a looser in tighter off sort of thing.

@HoganTechnologiesLLC loose in tight off can be fast if you keep the car under you. The black and red car is a pierce copy and that's what I ran was a straight bar. Gonna switch from J bar to straight bar on my new car and try it out. Looking for that DIG

How do you determine center of gravity what should you measure from?

It’s actually pretty complicated to measure the height, but measuring front and back and side to side is pretty easy. I should do a video showing how. If you measure your wheel base and width and then weigh your car, you can use the percentages to figure out laterally and front and back where it should be. The height is a bit more complicated. You need to weigh you car then raise the back and weigh it again. There is a formula to figure out the change.

For the right side frame mount would you mount to the rearend on the pinion mount or the LR axel tube? If to the axel tube how long of a bar would you suggest?

We always mounted on the tube up against the side bell edge. Make it as long as you can make it fit.
