Impressed how you get those IK pump foamers to work so well! I've had 3, all disastrous. You pump them forever and get 5 seconds use, and never that even. Or pump it and it starts leaking out after no time!! I've given up - use Kwazar Mercury Pro + 360 dual-action trigger sprayers alone now. No foaming action, but no aggro. Use less product generally too.

Morning Heather 👋, great work in returning the Jaguar to a superb finish 👏 I'm currently using carbon collectives snow foam as a contact wash and their ceramic foam product for a little bit of hydrophobic protection.....I've been impressed with both products over the last 3 months. @AutoCareHQ Thanks Heather. I ran out of GT one shampoo and my local shop suggested trying CC's instead. Very happy with the performance & results. The GT one shampoo recommendation was originally from Auto Cate HQ 🙂. I'll be buying a bottle, the next time I'm at the shop. Have a grand week Heather!
What a car that is and the colour is perfect for it. I see so many design touches throughout the Jaguar range in this car. My E-Pace & i-Pace have borrowed or lent parts to this car. I do love a red car as when they are clean and well protected they standout. I'm not sure you were the best salesperson for the LSP but when finished it showed off the car very well. Another cracking job and more products to consider. Thanks.

Hi Heather, I have always been a big fan of your channel, and will always follow you But I know that not everyone has big workshops but i have to raise a concern, which is that I feel that application of any ceramic coating outside can occur damaged to paint work due to dust and any pollutants in the atmosphere. Most people who watch your channel and many others could feel this is the correct method, as professional detailing is done in a controlled environment.
Thanks for watching Nigel :) Honestly I'm a firm believer that it's still possible to ceramic coat a vehicle outdoors. Especially with a product like this which is a lightweight ceramic and doesn't need a long cure time it's the same as applying a sealant or wax. In some past videos where I've applied longer-term coatings outdoors I've talked about some of the considerations I take e.g. temp, humidity, sunlight, wind speed to control dust etc. I think it's important to choose products which are designed for both indoor and outdoor application (as I know not all coatings are as forgiving) but as long as common sense is used with those kinds of coatings in terms of the environmental conditions, I think it's definitely possible to use them outdoors
I see you're using Geist products as well. I am very happy with those products in my applications. The cleaner works great but it's also very gentle on the leather.

Heather!! WOW job you have done, as ever!! My biggest issue where I live is the house is south facing, so gets this sun all the time. SO hard to do a full detail, unless I wanna start at, like, 7PM?? Really?? Also, melts the s@@@ out of the dashcam sticky pads!! Note to self?? Be more like Heather, find somewhere not in constant sun from like March to October?? 🙄🙄🙄🙄😝😝😝😝
My cousin has the same problem as you, and for some time he used one of those foldable gazebo tents. He recently had a large shade fitted which can be extended or rolled back as needed. It's worked really nicely for him - in fact I've been tempted to have one installed as well on my parents' driveway because the whole driveway is covered by fruit trees and unless there is absolutely zero breeze, it's impossible not to end up with some debris and tree sap falling down from the trees while I wash the car (I dry inside the garage for this reason). Might be worth looking into for your driveway!
@@AutoCareHQ Heather, got the 535 done on Monday. Big improvement. Gonna keep on improving it, I was physically shattered afterwards, my legs are now SO stiff. Got my back off neck sunburnt, the sun came out, even though weather app said good cloud cover all day!! 🙄🙄🙄
Thank you! It was just because the mud was quite thick so splitting the stages helps make sure all the mud and traffic film is definitely removed as much as possible before the contact wash

Hello Caretakers. Nice work, great car. In opposit to the good carpet quality the paintwork is not so smooth!? Lot's of orange peel skin on some panels.
Great video Heather. Noticed you were washing in direct sunlight, i really struggle with the shampoo drying before i can wash it and then the water drying before i can towel it leaving water spots. How do you get around this?
Thank you! I'm fortunate that the water is soft where I live so it's not too much of an issue for me. One thing you can do though is keep misting the car with the pressure washer and then rinse the shampoo after each panel. This definitely reduces the risk of things drying out. If it's a real problem though then you could look into getting a gazebo
Does anyone or people around ever complain, with so much water and suds used for cleaning the cars? I have fallen in love with spray wax / sealants, easy one and easy off. 😆
