Hi I want to buy your device using the link provided by MBZMaster but I don't see my country Ghana listed. Please provide an alternative way to buy it. Regards Victor
I need to push this stop n go button everytime I start drive my W222, W214 and W205. Your info is useful alots. Finally this freaking features can be disable. Thanks
@@MBZMaster I am going to try it, I have been pushing the button for four years and spent time researching the problem for work arounds years ago on my 2013 GLK350 4Matic, thanks!
Thank you for this video, I hate the stop-start feature and believe it will negatively impact my vehicle engine on the long run. The fact that it can’t be permanently disabled has always irritated me. My question is: you said it works for 2010-2020 model years; I have 2021 GLE 53 AMG, will it work for my vehicle?
Stop- go drives me nuts! I can only suspect this causes half life on the starter! Great video thanks for posting. The other features available on the device looks like it would be worth it also.
Could you please do a video where you recommend which Mercedes sedan/suvs are the most reliable to buy used. I know the 2006 e class and 2009 s class had high reliability but was wondering the best year for the gl or gls?
Mercedes had a lot fiascos between 2003-2005, so 2006 E-Class was the first one to get rid off problems. As far GL/GLS - I don't remember many problems, except older models had issues with Airmatic suspension, so make sure to have it checked professionally before purchasing. I'd probably recommend 2017 GLS (or later) except the first batch production, because that model got a lot of new technology and had been improved with newer safety technology. Make sure not to get the 1st batch production of 2017. It's easy to check. If it's equipped only with Apple Carplay - then it's a 1st batch, but if it has both Apple Carplay and Android Auto - then it's NOT a 1st batch. But any used car is as good as it was taken care of by previous owner. Watch my other videos on how to perform basic check of a used car here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BrZv6nSJ8Bc.html
While V8 feels a little better, you will save so much money on gas with I6 that I recommend I6. Have you seen gas prices lately? I6 actually has much better MPG than posted, while V8 is worse.
Almost every Mercedes sold in the U.S. has Apple Carplay since 2016, but every 2024 model definitely has it. Are you sure you don't have it? Where do you live?
@@MBZMaster thank u for answer me my friend but I meant if the Mbito tool could unlock apple Car play (otherwise I do have to buy the official package for 300 euro from Mercedes)
@MichaelPassaretti95 MBito will work on that model, but with very limited features. MBito gets updates all the time, adding new features. It's not designed to unlock Apple Carplay on 2024 models because it's a Standard feature. It comes free, at no extra charge - with every MB, but I'm not sure about Italy.
On mild hybrid like gla35 year 2024 do we have any information about stop and go? It looks very smooth on start and go but does it still costs problem and damage to car ? Thanks
It should work but with less features, if your model was made before the facelift. However, the Stop/Start feature on the latest Mercedes models works much smoother than on prior models, as it doesn't jerk as it used to. Start/Stop shouldn't cause any problems or any damage to your car since the starter is built-in inside the transmission. Although, some people say it may have negative effects on transmission in the long run, after many years of uses, I haven't seen any evidence of that.
Yes, does your car have Comand with Navi (not Garmin SD Card) or it's Audio 20? Service Functions now for several models - mainly W205 / W253 Start/stop memory = 10 credits (included if ordered via my link) One-touch blinker times change = 5 credits kPa to BAR tyre pressure conversion = 5 credits CarPlay/Android Auto activation (205 facelift models + 205/253 pre-facelift models with 154 code in datacard and phone logo next to USB port) = 40 credits W212/207/204/218 models remaining liters of fuel in tank window activation = 5 credits Rear lights ON with front DRL during daytime = 5 credits Other functions are free (seatbelt reminder, diagnostics (faults reading/clearing), Comand logo change for eligible radios etc...) MBito is constantly developed, and we see it as a major player in car diagnostics industry. There are a lot of plans like AI implementation for diagnostics in near future, which will make it exceptional even more.
@MBZMaster w205 2015 c300 4matic with the command screen and the turn dial selected. Not touch screen. Has the burmeister speaker setup. It doesn't have carplay is this something that would apply or would I need a magic box?.
AMG logo will work, if you buy with my programming via my page. Apple/Android Carplay will not work because it was not available on the C-Class till 2018 model year. And then it was optional. So if someone didn't pay for that option on 2018 und up (for U.S. models), then this device can unlock it (some models). And if you buy any Multimedia Box, like I sell here mbzmaster.com/multimedia-video-box/ or anything similar, they require Apple Carplay. But you can install an adaptive unit and change the screen to use Apple/Android.
I wish there was a setting to have tail lights + daytime running lights on when light setting is switched to "auto". Do you know if there's a device like this that can do that?
@@AKARazorback Just got it and used it. The rear taillights ON option is essentially just switching your parking lights on but instead the mbito codes it into the default ON position so you don’t have to switch it.
Hello, Will this work on those cars below ? W222 - year 2015 (Maybach) G55 - year 2016 W222 - year 2019 W223 - 2022 If you could please assist so that I understand if I should order some. Also, does this device have anything to program headlights ?
First 3 models - yes! W223 - not yet, but it's in development. Headlights programming is still in development, but you can update MBito when it becomes available.
hi, i have one question, when i first buy one feaute exc temperature unit changes, i will buy it in evry car or i buy once and then i have free this feature?
Premium features are sold per car, but Temperature unit change is already included at no charge, as well as Mercedes diagnostics, and some other features are already included for free.
Features and compatibility vary on different models, countries, and years. Also, sometimes new features are added during updates. But diagnostics and troubleshooting are included free of charge.
Android Auto wasn't available till some 2017 MB models. So you can't activate something that wasn't even available at that time. The technology wasn't there in 2015.
I may be able to figure if your car is compatible or not by your VIN number. Send me a message with your VIN# on my Facebook Page facebook.com/MBZMaster/ or via email, so I can check for you.
Why would you turn off Active Brake Assist. It prevents accident if you don't see the car stopping in front of you. But you can still press the accelerator harder to override that feature, although you may end up hitting another car...
Hi, I have mercedes vito taxi. So far I have had an nox sensor and o2 sensor fitted. It's still going into limp mode. Dpf seems fine. Any idea what could be wrong. No light on dash coming on ie EML. Thank you.
@@susanmcgachie8451 Your car may be equipped with Active Speed Limit Assist, which tries to keep the speed below the speed limit posted on the road. The Vito taxi is not available for sale in the U.S. so I'm not very familiar with that model, but if it tries to keep you under 30mph, I suspect the Speed Limit Assist. You can turn it off in the Settings of the Driver Assist menu.
The stop snd go is annoying, I STRONGLY dislike it!!! I turn it off every time, just like putting on my seatbelt. It’s become part of the routine at every start up,
Hi, I did send an email to you. Don't forget there is a big time difference with where you live. Please confirm that that you received my email by replying. Thank you.
Purchased this device, and it worked just as described. However, the stop and go function WAS NOT ENABLED as promised, so I had to purchase credits. I am disappointed that it did not come as promised. I mean, 10 bucks isn't the end of the world, but be aware you will have to pay for that functionality.
@MBZMaster No email was received and I did purchase from you. Again, it seems to have worked the way you said so no hard feelings. I'm glad to be rid of the start/stop annoyance.
@@tonybingham5485 In order to activate Start/Stop I need your email address that you used, especially if it's different from the one that you used to order. Send me email directly with the information of your order, I'll still try to get you some credits from the manufacturer. Or send me a direct message via my Facebook Page Messenger facebook.com/MBZMaster/
Car scanners and OBD2 readers do not damage any car, instead they are used by every car mechanic in the world, and it will never void any manufacturer's warranty. But this device is designed to be easier to read than any complicated code-packed OBD scanner. Also, MBito is not designed to change or modify existing functionality, it's designed to UNLOCK the functions that already exist in the vehicle, but disabled. For example, it can unlock Apple Carplay/Android Auto on some 2017-2018 C-Class, which is already there, but in disabled state because customer didn't pay for it, etc...
There are no steps because the operation is visual. You see what you want to do. Like for example, the Windows on the computer, where you don't follow any steps, you just use it visually for whatever you need it for.
DO NOT BUY - NO Support after you buy it Once they take your money they do not care about you anymore. I Bought this device a few months ago. A few days ago I wanted to connect it, but the phone app does not see the device. I tried to contact the support a few times without succes. No support, no nothing - I will try to see how can I make a claim to the relevant authorities
Why do I need to allow them to have my precise GPS location when it’s Bluetooth? This thing is collecting a $!@% ton of data and I’m paying for the privilege? No thanks!
What do you mean "them"? The location is asked by your phone, not MBito, to allow the Bluetooth connection. But you don't have to choose Precise. I just like the precision.
@@MBZMaster it’s asked by their software on the phone. It has NOTHING to do with BT which is a low power local connection. There is no reason, other than data collection, for them to ask for your location. They’re collecting all the data about your car as well. You are the product.
FYI, your phone will always ask for the location permission whenever you pair your phone via Bluetooth. I can assure you, the dongle company couldn't care less about your Bluetooth location. But as I said, you don't have to select Precise if you don't want to. Because they will also know where you live, if order one, otherwise they won't be able to deliver...
