What have you done to help stan learn to eat regular meals? I have a rescued bearded dragon that lived off of pellets and freeze dried mealworms the first 3 years of his life and it is so hard to get him to eat any sort of veggies or greens.

I've had one bearded dragon of my own and my dad have had several through the years, and honestly they are mostly just hanging around doing nothing all day, except when they gonna eat haha

I have a bearded dragon but I can’t hold him because every time I do he poops even when he just pooped he still does so the only thing I can do is pet him through his cage

@@optical035 If you keep putting him back in when he poops it'll just reinforce that he can do that to get out of stressful situations and be put right back in. Draw some lukewarm bathwater and put him in for a few minutes so he can poop then let the dragon out to run around in a safe small room and just clean up as he goes. He'll be able to get used to you if you sit down on the floor with him and let him come up to you as he chooses. It may take a bit of time though.

Being disabled isn't a bad thing, using derogatory ways to describe it is, I'm disabled and I prefer people acknowledge it respectfully and know my limitations instead of acting like it doesn't exist, we should do the same for animals

I enjoyed watching and observing Stan’s reaction to the other animals. I know that one day my bearded dragons are going to be getting older. Just like my children growing up, I will again wonder where the time has gone so fast. I believe that the more informed that we are, then the better we are able to care for our dragons.

Whenever I see bearded dragons besides Stan I can't help but think that none of them are as cute and special as Stan. He's the best "bearded dragon" ever. Love him so much.
