I've been watching the progress of your GMC Sierra for quite some time I gave you plenty of messages but I don't think you've got them or you didn't read them seeing that this video is new the probability of you reading it is higher so I have a 2001 GMC Sierra SLE extended cab two-wheel drive unfortunately it has the 5.3 l vortec V8 engine 285 horsepower stock. I have owned the truck for over 6 years seems to me that you have a lot better luck than I have with my truck. Within the past two years I have invested over $10,000 in vehicle in repair costs. The only real upgrades that weren't repairs was my flowmaster FX dual exhaust system which surprisingly crank my horsepower up to 294 HP in this truck cranks 285 stock. I replaced the driveshaft I had the whole thing rebuilt I replace the rear differential gear inside with a limited-slip rear differential new backing plate and bolts obviously new fluid. I replaced a hundred percent of the emergency brake system on the truck I gutted everything and replaced it hundred percent new. I also replaced rotors pads calipers front and back. I also bleed the brakes. I replaced sway bar links and bushings I replaced all four shocks I replaced all four wheel bearing hub assemblies I replaced the battery with a interstate battery because I've had great luck with these. I replace the serpentine belt the AC belt replace the tensioner pulley I replace the spark plugs spark plug wires I replaced 4 coil packs I replace the throttle position sensor the m a p sensor and I replaced all four oxygen sensors that was very expensive replacing the oxygen sensors. I replaced both power motors for the windows I had to replace the fan motor inside the truck the fan switch that controls the speed of the fan. I had to replacesome brake lines I had to replace a fuel lines and the fuel line going into the gas tank plus I have to redo the entire frame and that cost me $3,800 and then they tell me this after I've invested all this money 💰 into the truck. I quickly realized this shop was trying to scam me and sure enough that's exactly what they were trying to do to me. My truck has 123,000 mi and change on the odometer it sounds great it purrs in sounds absolutely fantastic with that dual exhaust system I put on. I also installed a k&n cold induction air intake system. And I've done more work to the truck but I just can't remember the rest of the stuff I have done what that was about 80% of the stuff I have done within the past 2 years it's been getting to the point where I'm ready to throw a frag grenade into the cab of the truck is getting to that point because I'm getting sick and tired of throwing money 🤑 at it. What is your suggestion if this was your truck and you were in my predicament what would you do????
Pick up some spray max 2k clear coat, its got hardener mixed in and it actually provides a proper uniform gloss unlike the cheaper 1k clear coats. You can make it look like a spray gun was used
I see what you’re saying about the lines in the fenders. I did my flares in duplicolor truck bed liner and it turned out amazing. Just an idea for you.
if your power fold mirror is loose at the base, this is how you take it apart (on the truck if you want) and you can snug up the torx screws that hold the folding mirror motor at its base.
I just bought a 2002 Sierra S.L t with only Fifty five thousand miles on it 6 months ago completely Stock One owner vehicle garage kept No rust almost perfect condition inside and out What modifications would you suggest I do?
Are you sure you put a heavy enough coat for your final coat. If you don't then it will show up orange peel even though you think it's from the plastic.
wrong, mirrors are textured which means you dont sand them!! alcohol solution w/ grey scotch bright pad....lightly sand...then adhesion promoter n paint dont chicken wrist while spaying, apply material on surface
