DISASSEMBLY - CAM870 BOLT | AIRSOFT

STEP 1: SCREWS, BOLT SLIDE, CARRIER DOG ACTUATOR
I start with the treadlocked screws at the bottom of the bolt.
I use Heat to deactivate the threadlock so I can remove the screws.
The bolt slide and carrier dog actuator are now free.
STEP 2: FIRING PIN RETAINER, FIRING PIN CUP, FIRING PIN, FIRING PIN SPRING
And this means that the firing pin retainer can be punched out using a 3 mm punch.
Over to the firing pin. With a 7mm punch I make the firing pin flush to the bottom of the cup.
Then I use a 3mm punch to separate the firing pin from the cup.
I remove the cup
Plus the firing pin and spring.
Note that the firing pin has this notch carved out on the end. So when reassembling the parts I make sure it's aligned correctly, or the firing pin retainer won't go in.
STEP 3: LOCKING BLOCK
Next I flip the bolt so my locking block, a.k.a. tactical blocking device, can fall out on its own accord.
STEP 4: EXTRACTOR PIN, EXTRACTOR, EXTRACTOR SPRING
I left the extractor for last. To remove the extractor pin I use a 2mm punch.
Beware that the extractor, and extractor spring, will try to run away from you.
