This weeks video is not one I'd ever hoped to make but here we are. The very dangerous road conditions on boxing day caused a slight inconvenience and the real question is can I get it fixed by the end of the video?

Great thing about them vans. Everything can be taken apart and parts sorced. Brilliant job by everyone. Good thing about this lifestyle, everyone tries to help. Super fast turn around. Take Care Max 🙏👊

I'm so sorry for your bad luck, but hats off to you... she'll was so up and running again. I'm literally tucked up in bed in my T1 310d with the diesel heater on ... Nice and toasty warm 👍👍👍

Oh no what pain god job putting back together if you had a plastic modern van would be £1000s probably would be right off then you would have no home they are great these old t1s

@@RustyRoseAdventures That’s right. In a lay-by by the campsite (closed for winter) behind another van. I didn’t say where as not everyone wants their location given away. We came back through Glencoe ourselves yesterday, but carried on to my brothers in Dumfries after the side door wouldn’t open or close properly. Ends up the internals we’re just frozen and all working again after parking in the sun for a couple of hours…. Might well bump into you sometime…

Hi, first video from you I have watched. Good to see that you are not like some others that I see that would have claimed things like vanlife is over for them, it is a total loss, etc. Bullshit vanlifers, which is awful when I have seen real vanlifer's desperate when they have trouble with their home.

Howdy Max!! Thankfully, you weren't hurt! Parts are replaceable, life isn't! At least you could source the parts you needed. Sucks that it's put a damper on your holiday, but at least there were friends around that could help you get the replacements you needed. I'll say you are definitely resilient!! JEEEEEZ babb, was just in love with the snow on mountains, n loadsa vans in that carpark, n the slow scenic drive n snow - stunning THEN NOOOOOOOOOO - gutted , so relieved ur all ok, but fuk man, glad there are amazing people where ya got too, to help sort it, n BLOODY EL DEFO fight for ur money back, thats shite from delivery company, n sooo much money, im buying you a coffee bab, cor afford much but just to say keep ya chin up , n enjoy rest of the adventures x

Well done Max for getting it sorted out knew you would.never easy when you pride and joy gets damaged and just think if it was a newer van damage would have been so much worst they don’t make them like the used to glad to see your back on the road take it easy mate
