The storm turned around? Are you sure? I would think that the eye passed over town thus the wind blowing one direction the calm and then blowing opposite direction on the far side

Normally, you would be correct. In this unusual instance though, it actually DID turn around. No one even today has figured out exactly how it happened.

220 km per hour is 132 miles per hour. 60miles is about 100 km. So 60 +60+ 6+6= 132
