No matter how often disasters like this happen, we still fail to respect nature. The silliest creatures on Earth.

Tornadoes however are one thing we can’t always predict with certainty. They can develop in an instant, giving no warning at all.

There are no historical buildings in Palmyra because Alexander's men burned the city to the ground. 🤨

Yeah I know several survivors from the Xenia tornado of 1974 the most powerful tornado of the outbreak. And my history teacher served in the National Guard and he got sent to Xenia Ohio for the cleanup.

They said during the 1974 outbreak a man was injured by a tornado they took them to a church but as they were on their way transporting him to the hospital they were overtaken by another tornado that killed the injured man.

We never experienced a lot of high winds in the area of the province I was born, raised in and still reside, however over the past number of years that has changed. We had one wind this past summer that I thought was going to be a tornado, and yet we didn't come close to the speeds in this video. How horrific must it have been in these areas, it is still evident in the survivors.

31 people died at Brandenburg, one of them was a single mother named Martha Son. She and her 3 sons, who were 14, 13 and 11 at the time, lived on the second floor of a duplex with no basement. All four were killed.😢

If I lived in tornado alley I’d have a deep basement or storm shelter. That, or build my house underground. If it was underground I’d save a fortune in energy bills too.

well. some of the people weren't really caught without warning some people were told about it they just refused to acknowledge the potential danger ahead of them.

Not everyone is like that, the weather is unpredictable especially tornadoes sometimes they come without warning and sometimes it’s too late for anyone to evacuate

Also they might not have a tv, cellphone, internet or radio to notify them of impending danger

Webster A few yeas ago had it's own tornado out break. One of the4 we had was EF3, halfway up the enhanced tornado rating. One took down 3 buildingsll the town was "talking" about taking down, any way. After it went through downtown,it still had enough energy tp spawn anotherone uptown!

theres so many videos about the Super Outbreak of 1974, but why do they ALL have to talk to survivors??..i wish they would make one that just shows the the storms itself, the damage, and the actual city that it is. Bad enough but then they start to renact with actors. I mean, did they really have to reenact the grandmothers death??...just do one that studies and analyzes. Especially the main cities like Xenia, Tanner...etc..
