I've been watching this channel all day.

I know these talk about so much tragedy, but they're so interesting and informative. Sometimes, especially when kids are involved, I just want to cry.

I was SO happy to find another uploaded episode. This series is not only interesting but I learn so much history that I did not know. Many thanks.

This is an excellent documentary on the history of the shipwrecks of the Five lakes area. I am really enjoying this program. Thanks for the upload! One thing I find puzzling though is that in Indian History--the Indians knew the Great Lakes area and knew for centuries the dangers of the lakes in November. Also having a history of such disasters, why do people continue to sail the Lakes in November/December. Should there not be a time when it is planned to just shut down shipping for the stormy weather season?? Perhaps plan ahead with extra shipments in the months of September/October in the plans to shutdown during the worst season for storms? Then after it has passed, reopen again? To me, rather than continue to lose ships, it would be better to manage the shipping lanes on the lakes in this manner. Just a thought.

Natural disasters like an avalanche are not the most thrilling to watch. Especially where the "victims" knew they were living next door to possible sudden death. Compared with a dam breaking, this stuff bores me to tears.
