Im so glad I got to have some 1 on 1 training with Proctor. Since that day my putting has been so much better, my flicks are still trash though 😂 Go get ‘em’ James!

Diehard Proctor fan here and a NorCal guy. He’s a fucking LEGEND in this neck of the woods. Really hoping he gets it on track this year I genuinely think he can win on tour on most tracks, just in that AB pre-win zone of having to put it all together still
Wow, great work Cory! Really enjoyed that. Great story-telling, flow, music...Only thing I'd change is the Jomez plug. Little awkward. Is there a part 2? Felt like a cliff hanger. Looking forward to more content. I think there's a place for these mini-docs focused on players. Not everyone can watch 3 or 4 round tourney coverage. You could be the Drive To Survive of disc golf.

Love this guy's game. Since getting into DG back in 2021, I've been rooting for a couple of underdogs, JP being one of them, Cory Ellis and AB being 2 others. Now that they've met success on the Pro Tour and across the pond, it's time for JP (nickname 'the Vanilla Gorilla') to take down a W. We're rooting for you man!
Well this was unexpected. James and Calvin are my two absolute favorites on the tour and so happy to get a glimpse of behind the scenes from James. Seems just as cool of a guy as he seems on coverages. Also very nice job from the production side. Just so professionally done while still keeping that intimacy that the disc golf calls for.
Seems like a grounded individual with a long term life for himself outside disc golf. Has things in perspective and humble. Will do well beyond the game…

My favorite pro! To me, this man is pure disc golf. My ideal pro. The passion in the man is evident. I'm so excited any time I see his name so there. Or get to watch him. He's such a genuine dude. Thank you for this doc on the proc.
Was very impressed by James's play at the budhill otb skins match,on a course never played ,,would be very surprised,if he doesn't pop off several big wins ,this year,maybe even a major

I've been a fan of James Proctor since the King of The Lake 2015 on Pure Hyzer Productions. I always enjoy watching him play and he did some really good commentary for the Butler County Disc Golf Classic in 2022. I can't wait to see him get a big win because we all know it's going to happen.
Loved this documentary, gotta have some more videos like this about some of the other lesser known players who find themselves on lead cards and in contention for wins. Fantastic job with this one!
Great video! Proctor has been one of my favorite golfers for a long time. I wouldn’t know him as well if it wasn’t for Corey and the CCDGC crew being true pioneers in the DG documentation/content creation. Keep doing your thing 🤜🏼🤛🏼

I saw the teaser for these documentaries and could already tell the quality would be top notch. This did not disappoint. Very much looking forward to the remaining ones! Can I ask where you get the music from, is it from some stock page or custom? It all blended so well together!
@@JohnnyDiscgolf never heard of the term stems before, only edited videos on a very hobby level with royalty free tracks I could find. Always used the full mix, but controlling stems is a great way to elevate the edit. A day without new knowledge is a day wasted! Thanks a lot for the reply! 😊
