And yet it makes so much sense, even if I never even thought about the two of them working together. Two handsome leading men types who are great at action, but truly excel at comedy and quips and physicality. Like, it's only natural these two would eventually work together, really.
The team-up humanity needs but does not deserve. Oh, and just let me say THANK YOU for dropping this announcement trailer ONE DAY before the premiere, unlike EVERYBODY ELSE who announces shit like MONTHS to YEARS ahead of time. You're a real one for that.
Just for S's and G'S, I did it myself. Here's what it came up with: The premise of "Evil Dead: Resurgence" revolves around the return of the Evil Dead, supernatural forces unleashed by the Necronomicon, a malevolent grimoire bound in human flesh and inked in human blood. Ash Williams, portrayed by Bruce Campbell, finds himself once again entangled in a battle against the Deadites, haunted by the memories of his previous encounters. The story takes a twist when a portal opens, introducing a new character, Wade Carter, played by Ryan Reynolds. Wade is a demon hunter from another dimension who accidentally falls into Ash's world. Recognizing the imminent threat, Ash and Wade decide to join forces to confront and eliminate the Evil Dead. Together, they embark on a journey to destroy the Necronomicon, the source of the demonic resurgence. The plot unfolds with intense action sequences, humor, and a final showdown in the familiar cabin in the woods. The duo faces challenges, including possessed beings and grotesque manifestations of the Evil Dead, leading to a climactic battle to save the world from the demonic forces. In the end, Ash and Wade successfully destroy the Necronomicon, closing the portal and vanquishing the Evil Dead. The movie explores themes of teamwork, resilience, and the ongoing struggle against supernatural forces that threaten to plunge the world into darkness.
After waking up in an apocalyptic future Ash Williams accepts his role as the slayer of all evil. Having finally fulfilled his destiny he settles down and finds a job in the entertainment industry, with a new show about things he saw in his past life.
Huh, that's cool and sounds familiar. Ten years ago, I tried to convince a friend to make a RU-vid channel with a similar premise. Basically, they would be broadcasting from the future while living in a bunker and hiding from the dangers of the wastelands. Easy to pull off with a green screen, and very limited props. They would review "ancient" and discontinued video games and movies, stuff like that, but all from the perspective of a hundred years in the future. They would also sprinkle in various commentary about what happens in our future, but in a humorous manner. Or even predict future events from our perspective. I think it would have been pretty fun.
Thanks for the Christmas card and ornament! I hope you and your family have a great Christmas! I'll have to take you up on that call sometime this season 😂
Wow, this is an AMAZING show idea. Bruce Campbell is my hero! Hes the perfect host for a show about this. Someone had a good laugh thinkin it up and i cant wait to watch it!
"The word sadly does not apply to mullets however." Oh God, could not agree more. They have taken off to an insane degree in here in New Zealand for reasons best known to someone who isn't me. It is a travesty of taste that no one has been held criminally responsible for it.
Grew up watching Bruce Campbell movies and got to meet him at a book signing. Pretty cool guy and funny as well. Look forward to watching a series that shows how old I've become. 😆
Burn Notice was a nice concept in the beginning, but turned out to be very repetitive after the first two seasons. But Bruce Campbell is the reason why I watched it 'til the very last episode.
Never ever let Books\Movies\Games\Information be Digital ... protect your physical media ... since one day , you will wake up in a Live Service world ...that for a social media post, removes you from all it's services ...
@@mightybluespider 18 years, perfect. He’s 47 Bruce is 65 in real life, but they could def pull it off, would be even funnier if he only had Ryan’s character as his son at 18 anyway
if they made a second season called "Fine" people could say "this show was Discontinued, but then the name changed and now it's Fine" that would be so funny lol😂
Awesome. My 70 year old mother just asked me about Bruce Campbell since she saw him in Burn Notice. She still hasn't seen any of the Evil Dead movies, yet.
