There is another bug with Discord connections that I find very annoying as a creator. Discord allows users to connect 1 RU-vid account to multiple Discord accounts. This means that if multiple different people with different Discord accounts connect the same RU-vid account to their profiles, they can benefit from a creator's channel membership perks on Discord as if they bought the membership separately. Discord's RU-vid integration automatically assigns membership roles to everyone on that creator's Discord server. I hope this gets fixed some day

I dont know why you would even have connections, its really unsafe given that you could be in a server with 1000+ members, random people on the internet that could literally be anyone. You are essentially giving a bunch of people your name, your family, pictures of yourself, I even found someones house adress after looking through their connections.
@@ΗΙΡ But most and many connections need the users details to create the connections to existing or new accounts. You don't need to be mega-mind and can still discover users information through accounts connected to their details using various methods that can be discovered through the Internet.
Some do it to make their discord account look legit, like, oh, this discord is actually owned by this content creator, or to allow membership only discord server, you know, to verify if someone is actually a member in youtube channel. Is it unsafe? Probably, it depend on the user opsec, for normal people, it is unsafe. Just like how pirating software is unsafe. But people will do it anyway, because the benefit usually outweight the risk.
I recall the story of someone ask for help on a python script to change tiktok username on "Able to do stuff the normal tiktok can" and not a single people helped for ToS reason

roblox youtube connection also needs to be fixed, story: one day little jimmy was just exploring Roblox, until he came across a profile that has a mrbeast connection, and little jimmy clicked it bringing little jimmy to mrbeast channel.
Lol. I have every single of my accounts connected to discord. I have every of my account connected to every other account in general. I know that it's probably very unsafe and stuff but it's fun to connect everything with everything and you get unexpected benefits sometimes. I don't use Tiktok but i made an account just to connect it to discord.
