I know a few biz owners who live in Woodmore. Beautiful homes but when I divorced my ex, I moved to VA. PG County does not have the high end stores as Montgomery, Loudoun, and Fairfax counties. It’s also a poorly managed county.
@@mrstanbmw At-Large Council Member just took a plea deal for stealing campaign funds and perjury. Going to be sentenced in November. (Who knows what they Really Think he is guilty of.) I think that some would say there is probably some bad management accompanying this scandal. js
I live at Woodmore Town Center, it’s getting a little crowded with the addition of Royal Farms, Woodmore Apts and more townhomes, and now they’re adding a Chick-FIL-A, 7-11 and a couple other unknown structures being built, other than that I’ve always dreamed of living at Woodmore, the houses are beautiful.
Its getting very crowded, also did you hear about the news that the REIT company thats leasing lots at the Glenarden town center where Costco's is doesn't want to renew their lease in 2025 and its really no other place for that Costco's to move to unless they built a brand new location at the old BLVD town center since no stores are really left there and now its just the home of the new PG hospital.
If you want retail and restaurants you have to have high density at the "city center." Woodmore Town Center and Downtown Largo are the "city center" for the area. The larger homes with big yards shown in this video are a little farther away. It's a good design. You have options for being close to stuff or farther away. When Woodmore Town Center was built it was surrounded by empty lots. It should have been clear to everyone that more stuff was coming.
I was looking for the Woods of Woodmore but it doesn't come up. Is there a zip code that's different than the regular Woodmore. I would love to build a house there.
I live in upper Northwest Washington, D.C. I shopped yesterday at Dat Jerk Caribbean Chargillm, Bath & Body Works, and the Wegmans in the Woodmore Town Centre. I had no idea, there were nice big homes like the ones you showed me in this area. I am somewhat familiar with Perrywood Estates in Upper Marlboro. Are the Woodmore homes in your video located in Bowie, Maryland or Lanham, Maryland? I love the home you walked inside the gate standing out front. I would have loved to see the inside of this house. Tohmai, a rowhouse in the rear of me in Northwest Washington, D.C. was recently put on the market for $1,275,000. I wish I could show you the link because this D.C. house isn't worth a million dollars. I see why so many D.C. Government workers live in PG County because they cannot afford these high prices in Washington, D.C. for a home getting much less than the homes you just showed. I am now retired living on a fixed income. I will stay in my rent control apartment until God calls me on to glory.😁
@@SoldByTohmai Constructive criticism: Your videos are good, homes are luxurious. Please change the music to smooth jazz (Listen to: Internet jazz radio" by Freddie G) Smooth jazz or classical music. Thanks!
Damn, the woods of woodmore houses look ridiculous. Those houses rival North Potomac, Maryland in size and scale. Make me wonder about the price? I got a friend that just bought a 4 bedroom in north Potomac for $1.7 milly. Not the biggest like these.
Hi…I have a couple of questions 1. Are there architectural style restrictions for newly built homes in Woodmore? 2. Do newly built homes have to ho through an HOA approval? 3. As it relates to the Woods of Woodmore, are there currently lots available? 4. Is the a list of preferred or required builders or can you select your own? Thanks
Unfortunately, the schools in the area are not the best. Despite the high income area and high real estate properties (and taxes) , the public schools are average. Most people enroll their children into private schools. Kind of absurd that we have that dynamic.
Frugle people who can afford a $1,000,000 plus home can also afford to send their kids to private school. This does not excuse a poor school system, but that's how many residents in those communities think and feel. The same house in Fairfax or Montgomery counties would cost $2/2.5,000,000. Do you want to pay an extra 7,000 dollars a month to live in a county with good public schools or pay that same 7,000 dollars ($84,000.00 per year) to a private school if you live in Prince George County?
Hey hey! loved the vid, beautiful representation of our community! However, the Bowie High School that you have here is not Bowie, Maryland (I believe the one you have is a high school in Texas). We are burgundy and blue Bowie High School alum c/o 1993 Bowie, MD
Just an Heads Up. Never use the term PG County. It's called Prince George's County. You would never say or hear this type of term used for example. MC for Montgomery County or AA for Anne Arundel County. It's slang used in the DMV area in the (English lexicon and a reason) for home and land depreciation in a predominant African American community.
ehhhh. people born and raised in dc and its surrounding area (like myself) says pg to refer to pg county. it's just a simple abbreviation, a nickname. no ill will behind the name. just like we say moco to refer to montgomery county.
Im glad you brought this up because I never really understood what the issue is with saying PG County. I say DC and I’ve never had anyone upset that I didn’t say District of Columbia.
You’re funny. I’m paying 13k a year in taxes for my home in mitchellville and all of my neighbors along with myself say we live in PG or Prince George’s. Who cares? While the area is prestigious the schools still trash so let’s not get carried away with the idea of feeling Bougie saying things like Prince George’s co
P.G. COUNTY? "Some" don't have a problem with that handle. "Others " prefer Prince George's County. This sounds a little more prestigious and represents a grand community. (Plese! No nonsensical comments like "Man! You must be one of those who think he's all that! Nope. "I" just think it sounds better, like William sounds better than Billy or James sounds better than Jimmy😃!" Your choice!!
Natives don't like it. It's pg and let's people know u are not from the way and a target. It's also a respect thing for the natives(yes the poor pg natives). Some of us will fight you over it and I'm one of those said people. I still love driving by woodmore and the other rich hoods. Black wealth 🫡❤️
