Absolutely loved this "trip" through Wisconsin and into Michigan. Loved the tour of Ashland and the Ironwood Museum. Beautiful drone shots of the road winding through the trees and also the farmland. I live in Michigan and am very proud of our beautiful state. So sad that our government seems determined to destroy these blessings. (Too bad we no longer tar and feather crooked politicians!) Thanks so much for taking us along!

Have you taken the Great Circle Tour yet? I did it twice by motorcycle: 1983 and again in 1993. Its a stunning tour, quite a lot of miles too.

I love that your back in Michigan. Our weather has been crazy this year. I'm in SE Michigan and normally we get about 45 inches of snow each winter. This year we have had hardly any snow, in fact we've had temps in the 60s. The Upper Peninsula has had some but nowhere they usually get it ranges from 57% to 75% what they normally get.

I miss Wisconsin and Minnesota UpNorth. I used to live in Duluth, Mn. and I love it. It’s so beautiful up there. I also love the Apostle, 13 Island in Bayfield, WI.

I used to drive the scenic byways of Duluth, Mn. and H-way 13, H-way 2, around Lake Superior to Ironwood, Michigan. Life is beautiful in Wisconsin. Lake Superior in Bayfield, Apostle Island, Wisconsin

You have the Cindie Marie at 38:44 sitting in the water, an a picture of her iced in in the Bayfield Museum at 1:13:23. I camped and kayaked the Apostles in 2010. I need to go back. Wisconsin is my home. If you don't go north, you miss some of the best of our state.

Loved this video! I spent a good portion of my youth in northern Wisconsin including college at UW Superior and I really miss just how beautiful it is up there. BUT, I also remember what November thru March felt like. ❄️ inspired to make a road trip maybe next summer though.

I live about 150 miles South of Port Wing and try to get up there a couple times a year to ride my RZR on the national forest roads and trails. I go to Johnsons Store in Port Wing and get a chunk of smoked salmon then down to the Marina/Boat Launch and eat it by the lake. Been to the park in Herbster many times also. Many miles of old railroad right of way in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan have been converted to multi use ATV trails. I hope when you got to Copper Harbor you went to the top of Brockway mountain. Just Spectacular in the Fall. Thanks for another Great Video...

I absolutely love these videos. And truly enjoy your narration of each video!! I want to ask a question I hope you can answer. Several months ago I found a video where you were driving through an area where there were solid rock cliffs on the right side if the road. Very close to the road. I would like to see it again but I can't find it. Can you help? From East Tennessee near the Great Smokey Mtns. A little town called Newport. I am a 77 year old ,widowed Great Grandmother. I do so enjoy "traveling with you" as you travel the backroads of this wonderful country 😊😊😊.

Russ the Apostle Island's was dedicated as a protected national lakeshore by the federal government, as per President John F. Kennedy in the early 60's. At the request of then Governor Gaylord Nelson, Kennedy and Nelson spent a week of touring The Apostles Islands and Bayfield. President Kennedy stayed mutiple nights in a small hotel in Bayfield. I had the opportunity t stay in the same room as the President on one of my trips to Bayfield. All the Islands have a light house. The only Island that has hotels, restaurants, golf courses and year round residents is Madeline Island. Automobile traffic is allowed on this island only. There is car ferry than runs from Bayfield to Madeleine island multile times a day. A unique eatery/pub is Tom's Burned Down Cafe, which is a outside eatery with a lot great atmosphere.😊

@1:41:41. that ivy growing up the brick wall, altho pretty to look at, is actually not good for the brick. the ivy secretes this goo that adheres to the brick, corroding the brick over time, eventually weakening and crumbling the brick...
