Okay I have the answer to the question if the bed can be lowered to the bench. It can but there are no holes to put the pins in. You have to drill more holes in the metal track for it to work. Not sure if it's true but I was told this voids the Happi-Jac warranty.
We didn't drill anything. We just moved the bed to the bench brackets, which are a little lower on the track. It's just hard to explain, without a visual.
@@xtreme.lifestylz That's a better explanation. The dealer I spoke with didn't think about removing the bench. He was keeping the bench and moving the bed down to sit on top of the bench.
Everyone in the industry is going to 12 volt, and even the fridge companies are discontinuing the 2 way and 3 way. I get it, though. I didn't like it at first but am used to them now and actually own a 12v myself. i really doesnt draw much at all.
@@xtreme.lifestylz maybe they improved the technology, I have a three-way from 2018 and when my propane went down and I had to use 12 V it just killed my battery in several hours. I love the Sunset park models though. Looking at the 139 but also the new LTD series 13bh and bd. I would have grabbed a 149 a year or so ago but they had changed to the 12 volt as well.
@@jwall62 mine draws 6-68 watts total and I would much rather run off battery than propane due to expense at this point. I can always add more battery power.
So, if you want to sit comfortably on the bench does the bed stay all the way up to the ceiling. Crouching over while sitting on a bench is not something I would like to do.
@@xtreme.lifestylz Did you ever get the other 139t? I'd like to see a vid on it. Also, how tall are you, doesn't look like there is any place where you could actually stand. Could you stand if both bunks were removed?
@@darrenfon the new 2024 139t walkthrough will be coming up pretty soon. It's extremely similar to this one. I will try to remember getting some exact measurements for us tomorrow. I'm 6'2" in height.
Remind me and I'll measure when I'm there. I believe it's around 12 feet inside, so it may fit diagonally. I really would like to do some actual measurements for us, though.
I had some issues with the microphone and audio in some of my older videos. My apologies! I have since swapped over to new audio and have a new 139t video on the schedule.
A camper slides into the back of a pick up your in a trailer that you pull from the rear of a vehicle. Do I need to explain fithwheel and gooseneck mr. Salesman ?
Sorry, but to difficult to watch, your microphone isn't working your muffled and your camera can zoom in and out for perspective but we wouldn't know, camera work looks like an action cam in a war movie. Sorry.
It’s because this “salesman” doesn’t know how to work his product and should be banned from representing Sunset rv. I took the stops out so my bed comes down to 3’ off the floor. Also if you use the 4 pins happijack gives you, you can pin the bed up to the ceiling so you have room to sit up when sitting on the lower bunk. Set up a folding table of your choice and you have a comfortable dinette with plenty of headroom. This guys a joke I could sell Sunset with my eyes closed. I own and use the 139T the lower bunk folds down for more toy height than this guy states as well…this new system gives you the width needed for a quad or motor cycle that the “fold to wall bed” could not.
@@robmiller5593 I called a dealer today and they said the top bunk could come all the way down but it voids the Happijac warranty. And for that to work, they said they would have to drill the holes out bigger for the pins to fit a lower set up.
