Episode 37 - The ancient city of Ephesus is a favourite destination for tourists visiting Turkey because of its breath-taking ruins and significant historical and religious significance. After Rome it was the second largest city of the Roman Empire and was the capital of Asia Minor. Ancient Ephesus was an important site for Christian history. It was here that Apostle Paul wrote “First letter to the Corinthians” and Apostle John is said to have written his Gospel. Today Ephesus is still under study with only 15% of the site excavated. Visitors to the site will be truly impressed by the grandeur of the ancient city. Join us on this historical journey of Ancient Ephesus.
