Thanks Roy always trying to improve and make them entertaining and informative. Yeah Cappadocia was a highlight of our Turkiye trip. Love to you both TnS 💙💚
I have just binged watched your Istanbul videos and Hanoi ones. I loved them. ❤ I will be going to Istanbul for 3 day in September and then onto Vietnam. I’m not sure if you are into shopping at all but would you know which country would you say has the best price and best fakes when it comes to handbags and t-shirts Istanbul or Vietnam? India is on the list hopefully next year so I will be looking forward to watching those videos. 😊
Hi Vicki we love binged watchers 😍 Glad you enjoyed the video's 🙂 When it comes to fakes as regards clothing items Istanbul certainly had a far few at the markets in Pendik but I would say India would be your best bet all over to get fake handbags and clothing etc. Hope you enjoy your trip and thanks for your comment and watching our video's. Warm regards Tim & Serena 💚💙
@@FairDinkumAdventure Thank you for your kind reply. I'll stay at the Tangalooma resort. So I just wondered if I need to book it for snorkeling. Your video helped me a lot!😍
Hi, we hired the car in Kusadasi and dropped it off at the Antalya Airport. Because it was not return we had to pay an extra cost of a one way hire fee through Europcar Hire. We had just over one week and visited Ephesus first. We think next time we would take a few extra days as there were some other beautiful places we had to miss because of time. Hope that info helps 👍🏼🤠
‘Dolma’kelimesi Türkçe olarak Doldurmak fiilinden geliyor..İşte nasıl oluyorsa Yunan dolmades oluveriyor …Türkiye’de gezip Yunan dolması yiyoruz diyorsunuz …o zaman gidin Yunanistan’a LOKMA’des yiyin DOLMA’des Yiyin …Bizim olan kültürümüze de saygı duyun …
The name 'dolma' has been borrowed by the Greeks from the Turks, however the food itself stems from ancient Greece. In ancient Greece, dolmades were called 'Thria' and were made with tender fig leaves! In fact records show that Dolma was first prepared in the city of Thebes, an ancient town on the Nile River. The natives of Thebes stuffed seasonal meat and vegetables into vine leaves to make a dolma-like dish.
@@FairDinkumAdventureactuallu it is not clear because east cebtarl asians turka like uyhurs are even make dolma which is " sarma " in turkish and means warapping turks might have brought it to this area or maybe they had two smilar food which later mixed
Türkiye is a very beautiful gift of God to this earth. The food of this unique country is wonderful, the sea, the history, the sun, the beaches are beautiful. It is one of the top 3 countries to see before you die.
Red meat contains iron. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. That's why we use lemon a lot when eating meat. We squeeze lemon into the Turkish stuffed meatballs. We squeeze lemon into the lahmacun. While eating kebap, we eat a salad with lots of lemon on the side. Also tantuni etc. :) I think our guests coming to our country should also know this. It is much more delicious with lemon.
Forget watching Getaway! You guys are great! Tim, you remind me of one of the Leyland brothers and Serena you have a great voice for TV and radio. You both have been a joy to watch with amazing footage and respectful of where you are in the world. Well done!
