Wow, unbeatable trip to see the Alps, by an unbeatable travel duo, Marie and her Mom :} ! Your room view was gorgeous, and then you hit the top of the mountain and there are not enough words to describe what you filmed, mountains that God made so high! I could see Mont Blanc and Switzerland, and the tops of the Alps looked like rolling clouds themselves, high above the earth below. I never knew the Tour de France traversed that mountain , as I watched the tour when I was younger and Bernard Hinault dominated, and a young American, Greg LeMond helped him win his last one. I so very much love snow, and there was so much, enough to make it hard to stand up or walk down a steep hill 🤣 ! You all looked like you were having so much fun - I love that. How in the world do they keep that dizzying road clear of ice!? Thank you for a beautifully done video for your first one on your Alps trip!
Bonjour Marie! Wow, what a great experience for you and to share with your mom. I'd love to go to a mountain resort because even though I don't ski, I would hike and explore like what you did. But, I'm SHOCKED that you only had sneakers and "no show" socks! I would think your feet would have been SO cold! Anyway, really enjoyed this! Oh, and when you were riding up the mountain I was watching the machinery and thinking, "wow they really did an awesome job making that," so no, you're not weird to appreciate the chairlifts. Bonne journee! ~Be Blessed
Salut encore Mme Marie 🗻🏂 Happy to see you and your mom again having a Splendid time around the Mountaintops of Chamonix on the first of your Alpine Adventures. It must have been thilling taking a skyride with all those great views and Mt Blanc , the pride of France looking so inspiring far away in the sunshine. With all the skiing going on , hope you didn't feel as if you were missing out, anyway you did hint that your be trying it out later on which is exciting when you have a good instructor by your side, imagine how cool it would be doing turnpikes on your custom made snowboard with your totom brand in purple with led lights, save up our pennies and we can make it happen for you. It was goofy of you to slip down the hill , make sure your wearing hiking boots next time, it happens to the best of us , you always bounce back and I also love jumping around in the snow like a jackrabbit when I get the chance , it's so satisfying to feel young again. Sorry you got lost driving around but among such wild beautiful scenery I wouldn't mind so much and it was well worth it for that delicious meal & rustic charms of that restaurant you found. On a finishing note I also like the trivia you add every time along with the folky music , I'll have to revisit those green jersey moments of the tour De france, it's been so much fun thank you for taking us along with both of you, until next time I'll check that notification bell & share with everyone ,if you want to catch up with the X games championship it's there on our shared playlists, have a Terrific Thursday, your cherished & loved by us all. 🌺 🏞️ ✨ 💟
😳wait.. What.. Our sweet innocent marie wanted to film her mom rolling down the mountain in 🇫🇷 France...😂😂😂 Awesome video marie!! 🇫🇷take care🇺🇸 🎿🏂🎿🏂🎿🏂🎿🏂
It is so beautiful when you are above the clouds, and can see for many kilometers! It is so cold that the snow froze to ice, I hope you didn't hurt yourself when you fell.
It looks amazing, though I'm not much of a cold lover. I think I'd be happiest back at the ski lodge in front of a roaring fireplace with a nice hot chocolate. 😀
Bon jour sweet Marie! I enjoyed this video the most of all your videos so far. The scenery was amazing, and it was nice to see you and your Mom together. 8:21: "We did it guys"...then an immediate fall. I'm glad you weren't hurt, but that was too funny. Karma got you on that one. Talking earlier about seeing your Mom fall came back and got you. One time, my Dad took my brother and me white-water rafting. Before we set off, Dad kept joking that Dave and I would be the first ones to fall in. About 30 seconds after we took off, we hit some rapids. Dad got knocked out of the raft, while Dave and I stayed in. It was so damn funny we were laughing so hard we were crying. We teased him about it for years. Love you Dad.
What a great video Marie 🤗 you looked like you and your mother had a wonderful time and the views were so majestic 🥰 thank you so much for sharing since I’ll probably never get the chance to visit such a beautiful place. I can’t wait for the rest of the videos of your trip 😊 please take care and stay safe 🙏🥰
Nice video with good views and good music. I am glad you didn't get hurt. I fell while on vacation in Colombia and got a big scrape below my knee that is still healing a month later. But nothing broken and made it home on time.
Great video, Marie! Love the views! Glad that you and your mom had a fun time. P.S. I'm 99% sure the space looking thing is a TV broadcast antenna/tower. Definitely the perfect place being that high up!
Beautiful mountain country views, Marie! I hope to visit the Alps in the not too distant future. It would be great fun! Thank you for sharing your trip with us!
What a wonderful video. I enjoyed everything about this video, from the incredibly beautiful scenery, to you and your mom having such a great time, to your easy going and relaxed (except when you fell on your butt😂!) presentation of this video. You made the comment that next time you would try skiing. That would be so awesome, especially if you got it on film!!! Your videos always put a smile on my face, so I thank you for that, and for making my day brighter!!!😎👍👍⛷
Wow! What a beautiful trip. Thanks for taking us along for the slide. :-) Interesting that you got a shot of the resort's rescue snowmobile with the tow-behind sled that will accommodate a stretcher/backboard...and then, you didn't join the pack and ski down to the valley. Hmmm. That twisty mountain road looked like half of the U. S. state of West Virginia!
Marie where are your boots? I'll bet your feet were cold. It looks beautiful and it's nice to spend some quality time with your mother. When I was younger I skied for 4 months in Austria and Switzerland and this brings back some great memories.
This was a really fun video to watch. I especially got a kick out of you specifying the altitude of the ski resort you were at. I live at 1288m and we don't think it's terribly high. A local ski resort (about a 30 minute drive from the city) is up at 2730 meters though. For comparison to some other cities "relatively nearby" where I have also lived -- Denver (nicknamed "The Mile High City") is 1673m. Colorado Springs is 1832m, and the summer I spent in little Alamosa was 2300m. I went to college in Rexburg, Idaho, which is 1484m. My family has a cabin near Yellowstone which is at 1918m. So yeah... the western US is pretty high ;-)
This was awesome!!!!! :0) :0) :0) Great to see you in the mountains enjoying some snow! (I went on a similar adventure last week) So nice seeing you & your mom enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Those Alps look amazing - I would love to ski them someday. The ski resort you visited is very similar to ones you might see here in the States - the 6 person chairlifts & gondolas look about the same. AND there's a "Mountain Coaster" there too! At least that is what they are called here - the rail system you can ride through the trees and down the mountain. They are a lot of fun! Sneakers and snow aren't the best match but I'm glad you had fun - until karma caught up with you - :0) You picked a clear beautiful day. I would have enjoyed that lost mountain adventure too. Great video Marie - thanks for sharing it! Happy to hear your mask mandate is ending too. I hope things continue to improve for you all! Looking forward to the next one! Chamonix?!! Sooo jealous :0) 🐺
